This is the in-house Italian Restaurant for the Camel Dive Club and Hotel which is also open to the public, not just hotel patrons. The restaurant strives to appeal to its multicultural guests through an elegant ambience, quality service and excellence in food quality and variety. Fresh locally and imported sourced ingredients are use to ensure that the meals presented to the guests are a shear delight and enhance their overall experience of their time in the Hotel and dive facility. An excellent range of vegetarian dishes compliment the middle eastern and Mediterranean menu, which has a bias to Italian seafoods, pastas, meats and chicken dishes, along with fresh salads and excellent pizzas. The Pomodoro goes out of it way to maintain its own unique distinctive style in food choices, service and gracious hospitality earning it a deserved first class reputation.
Giuseppe Pomodoro (Executive Chef) and his kitchen and front of house staff can be very proud of the exceptional experience they deliver to their dining guests.

My partner & I stayed with the attached Camel Dive Club and booked half board (breakfast & dinner) with Pomodoro for our 1-week visit.
Breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful, which is appreciated ahead of a day of scuba diving.
And every dinner was perfect after a day of scuba diving! Freshly prepared, healthy, delicious pasta dishes, pizza and burgers plus fresh salad and fruit. The half-board menu offers a good choice for both vegetarians and meat-eaters.
The staff are friendly and attentive, thank you!

Its usually a good sign when a restaurant is busy and I was not disappointed. Service was friendly and attentive and a cold Sakara beer arrived in good time. followed by my starter of beef carpaccio which was delicious, Main course fettucine with rich pomodoro sauce was a delight and just enough without being too much. Excellent food and great value

The place was clean. The plates’ portions are ok if you are not so hungry but if this your main meal, you will be hungry. We ordered cordon bleu and spaghetti shrimps. The taste was not that delicious but ok. The cordon bleu was only one medium size chicken breast covered with rocket and parmesan and two slices of grilled zucchini and aubergine. The spaghetti was almost less than 150 grams with very small cut calamari and three medium size shrimps. Wa also ordered bruschetta as a starter, which came with only three small ones with the price of 89 pounds excluding the taxes. Overall, I see that the restaurant is very expensive, with average food and quantity.

The food quality is great! Fresh and vibrant in flavour and colour. Would recommend the set menu for half Baird anytime. Can’t go wrong . I would only say that some of the waiters (pink shirts) need to more helpful the only slight criticism any one could make overall great food venue!

Served by Mohammad (manager of restaurant). Food was fantastic soo good we came back a second time! The lasagne was ordered twice, chicken pizza was very tasty and grilled chicken was order twice also. The seafood spaghetti was very good, tasty and Mohammad ensured the tail was removed!
Service was fantastic, very attentive, very pleasant, the ambiance was good!
Definitely recommend!

We had the option to dine at Pomodoro every night as part of a Half Board package with our hotel, Camel Dive Centre. After a lap of the area we decided this would be a great idea.
We had delicious pizza and pasta throughout our stay. The pizza is stone baked to perfection and the pasta is freshly made with rich delicious sauce. Service was incredibly prompt and we were well looked after by Mohamed, Mohamed and Mina.
Lovely relaxed spot with comfortable seating and reasonable food prices. Definitely recommend!

We have travelled to Naama Bay, Sharm el Sheikh many times and always eat at Pomodoro a fantastic Italian restaurant that is part of the Camel Dive complex. The food is excellent and reasonably priced and the staff are always friendly, they never have to try and drag customers off the street. I must place to eat.

The best spot ever in Sharm,
Very clean, regularly sanitized, All the team are wearing masks.
And the food is just soo tasty, every dish new dish I try makes me forget the other.
Khaled, Alaa, Mina From the restaurant made the experience tastier with the best food and service I ever had in Egypt.

We ate in here every morning and evening during our stay next door. Service was always fantastic. We tried almost everything on the half board menu and it all tasted nice. Chicken very tender and salads tasty. Breakfast options are really good (I mostly opted for the 'healthy breakfast') and if you pre order they bring it out really quickly after you get there in the morning. Staff very polite and professional, and will bend over backwards to help you!

After eating at a few over-priced and poor quality food experiences, we ended up at Pomodoro after a local recommendation. We are so happy that we ended up there. The food was outstanding. We handed the Spaghetti Oglio e Alio as well as the Pasta with Vegetables. Both off the charts. Coming from Bay Area California, we were so happy to get some really authentic Italian food here in Sharm. A couple of days we were trying another restaurant and I was so unhappy with the food that we came back to Pomodoro to make sure our evening ended on a high note and we were again not disappointed. Our server Nour was back with his smile and brought our evening back to life.

The reason for my - slightly grammatically incorrect - title, is that something that annoyed me during our visit, are the pushy vendors who try to get you in their establishment (food or products). At Pomodoro (like all facilities of Camel Dive Club and Hotel) they don't have any people luring you in. Their reputation is enough, with even in winter time people at their facilities while other establishments are mostly deserted. The food and service are great, additionally all fees are already included, which is a nice perk (at most places it is stated what to add). A bonus, they only use iron straws to help conserving aquatic live!

Spent four nights at the Camel Dive Club and Hotel, which is next door to Pomodoro Restaurant. Mohammed and his team provided a very warm welcome every night when I came here as art of a half board package with the hotel. The food was delicious and the service superb. The atmosphere outside was relaxed and comfortable and the waiters always super friendly. Although the half board options didn’t extend to the whole menu, there were more than enough choices to satisfy- home cooked burgers, famous pizza, delicious chicken cordon bleu etc etc. would not hesitate to recommend. Only suggestion is to please provide a regular sweet alternative dessert to fruit (although I did get the heavenly chocolate cake as a final night treat :-)
Otherwise top notch!

The staff are unbelievably attentive and very accommodating and the food is delicious. I highly recommend Pomodoro for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Some people in our group are vegans and we had no problem at all once we explained that we didn’t want milk or cream or cheese.
They offer a large vegan breakfast with many vegan breakfast options on the standard menu and they have oat milk.
The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Food is good and service as well. However prices are very high compared to the quality of ingredients we get. For example greek salad is above 260EGP without taxes, however looking at the components we did not see cherry tomato, but just the local cheap tomato.
We tried pizza, and other main courses and overall prices for Egyptian specially is higher than usual.
I have seen higher prices for other Italian restaurants, but quality of food was absolutely different.
It was a one visit test, and will not do it again, even though as I said food was ok with no problem.

Just giving you an example, we use special Italian Caputo flour to make our pizzas, which is considered the best flour for pizza dough, but it's an imported and rare item here in Egypt.
Regarding your observation about the Greek salad, in the traditional Greek salad recipe, the use of cherry tomatoes is not a standard component. Rather, the salad typically features ripe, sliced or chunked tomatoes that contribute to the overall flavor profile of the dish.
We would like to clarify that at Pomodoro, transparency in pricing is of utmost importance to us. We're pleased to inform you and all our valued guests that all the prices listed on our menu already include both VAT and service charges.
