Great spot right off the beach. Service was very good but my cobb salad was served to me in a small plastic Chinese take out container which made it hard to cut and eat. My sister was served her pizza in a box. I thought at first maybe because of COVID but the other orders came on plates and in baskets.

Our second time here in the last 2 weeks, and another good experience.
As summer residents in the area; we are happy to have an outdoor venue for lunch with decent food and good service.
It has not been crowded or noisy and while the prices may be a little high, the beach like environment creates a very pleasant and unique environment, especially on a sunny, breezy day.
We will be back.

The setting here is perfect - sand under your feet, next to the beach, and an umbrella over your head. The service is surprisingly good as well. However, the mixed drinks are some of the worst that I have ever had. The margarita was foul, as were a few other mixed drinks. Stick to the beer!

We made a fire pit reservation for a 60th birthday celebration and unfortunately it rained all day and into our 7:00 PM reservation time. I called twice during the day because they have a 24 hour cancellation policy. They assured me that they would be ready for us unless it was raining and that there would be music. We showed up with our party just after 7:00 as the rain was ending. The area wasn't set up, the tarps over the fire pit areas were still filled with water and dripping into the seating area, the live music had been cancelled due to the weather and there was no music playing at all. The manager wouldn't come out to talk to us. Instead they sent out a young lady to tell us they would 'take care of it'. Instead, they kept $100 of the $250 rental fee. Terrible customer service and misleading 'rain' policy.

Venue definitely has a cool beach vibe. Food and drinks overpriced and nothing special. Service is terrible. Plenty of staff that all seem super friendly but not very attentive.

Our family spent the night with Francesca last night. She was awesome! Great customer service and amazing with the kids. This is a great place to hang out! Definitely check out Sandbar Village!

The Sandbar Village is a little open-air restaurant adjacent to bar linked with the Icona resort. The tables are super-pretty and set right on the sand. The music and overall vibe is terrific. I had a margarita, which was very good. But the food? Just okay. The first day we stopped in for lunch, I had a "power salad," which was awful. The second day, I had the fish tacos, which were much better. The fries are good too. If you're staying at the hotel and want to catch a bite close to the beach, this is a good spot.

Icona is the perfect shore retreat! The resort is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and so accommodating! The rooms are crisp, clean, and cozy! My girlfriends and I spent an evening laughing around a fire pit at the Sand Bar Village ~ The food was delicious and service was excellent!! I highly recommend the fish tacos (having had them at least 3x during my stay!). It’s the perfect place for a drink by the beach with live music and a fun, friendly atmosphere! After a weekend at the beach and by the pool, we capped off our stay with Sunday breakfast at the Avalon Brew Pub and it was the perfect send off (the French toast was delish!). My girlfriends and I are already booking for next year! Highly recommend!!!!

I took my family to the Icona Golden Inn July 19 - 23. What a memorable and wonderful experience we had on our mini vacation. The staff is very well trained and incredibly polite. It truly felt like being at a 5 star resort. From the pool to the Avalon brew pub and everything in between we couldn’t have been happier. I can’t forget to mention the courtesy golf cart and shuttle service, really saves the hassle of parking in town and also allowed for my wife and I to have wine at dinner without having to drive home. In the past we used to rent a house for week at a time, not anymore. I’m happy to say that we have already booked again for a long weekend in September (without kids).

Had the greatest weekend at the Icona with our crew of friends; we ate every meal but one either at the SandBar Village or Avalon Brew Pub. The staff was amazing, really friendly and super accommodating. We were a large group so am sure were not easy to deal with, but we were treated so well! Breakfast at the Brew Pub was a great surprise ...and don’t skip the fish tacos at the Sand Bar! We had them 3 times in 36 hours, and I’m still dreaming of them today. We are making it an annual trip- can’t wait to get back!

I’ve been here a few times with friends and I couldn’t imagine a more fun place to hang with friends. It’s on the beach, oftentimes has live music, great food and drinks. Highly recommend this spot for anyone heading to the Shore for a weekend!

We visited the beach bar last Saturday night with three other couples and sat in the cabana with the fire pit. The food and drinks were amazing! The service was top notch and our waitress Darby did a fantastic job. We will definitely be back again!
