My husband and I enjoyed wonderful food and cocktails here. He loved the mussels and crab cake sandwich. It was chock full of crab not all fillers like most crab sandwiches. I enjoyed the pretzel with the most amazing mustard sauce. But really what makes...Avalon Brew Pub stand out is there staff. Sue our server was so sweet and helpful with the menu. Krystal our bartender had a dynamic personality and clearly knew her stuff. We look forward to going back one day!More

We recently stayed at Icona, Avalon and had the pleasure of having breakfast at the Brew Pub two mornings in a row. The hostess could not have been more charming and the staff on a really cold winter morning were a burst of sunshine. Our...breakfasts were delicious and we look forward to our stay this summer at Icona. Great job guys!More

Ordered several things and all good but the bagels. There was a wonderful amount of salmon. Coffee good and flowing. Staff was fantastic....polite, accommodating and helpful. If u are staying at the Icona, don't hesitate to eat there.

The atmosphere gets a 5. Beer gets a 10. Appetizers a dinners an “eh”. My chopped salad was mostly lettuce. Few of the extras I had hoped for. My husband said his lump crab sandwich was lots of filling. Our fried ordered soup( never came)...also ordered pie with his coffee ( hot the coffee but no pie) Granted they were busy and only had 2 waitresses working their tails off. I will go back again for the beer and appetizers.More

Sat outside. Tables were so sticky and not cleaned prior to us sitting down. Our server was great but the seagulls here are vultures and they can’t in to sweep up whatever food they could when the tables were not bussed in a timely manner....Menu is nothing special. Had the fish tacos as it was really the only gluten free option and the mahi mahi was very over cooked and taco shell had a weird texture. Kids had pasta and were satisfied. Good beer options and inside of restaurant was very cool in terms of decor. Overall, would not return.More

We enjoyed our meal at Avalon Brew Pub. Burgers and fries were good and the beer was solid. Service was so-so (nothing special). Wings could be crispier but the sweet Thai sauce on them was yummy. All in all, we were happy with our dinner...and would go back again.More

A group of about 10 of us gathered here for an anniversary dinner. The service was excellent. We were seated outdoors on a nice afternoon, and really enjoyed ourselves. There was a good mix of seafood, vegetables, and meat on the menu and everything tasted...very good. The waitstaff was attentive and everyone in our party liked their food. The restaurant is about 100 feet from the beach. So after dinner is over or you can take a nice walk at sunset. They also have a nice selection of local microbrews.More

My wife and I enjoyed an outside table for dinner. Terrific service, food & atmosphere. The only downside was parking but everything else made the night a success.

This brewpub is closer to Stone Harbor than to Avalon, making the location even better. The food here was the best meal that we had at the beach. The service was great as well, and you enjoy everything just a one-minute walk from the water....TIP: Do not call for reservations - it is better just to show up. They told us nothing was available when it was 75% empty!More

We had two meals at the Brew Pub while staying at the Icona, and loved the food. Both of our meals (one was dinner, the other was lunch takeout) were great. I enjoyed my crabcake sandwich, burger and the crab & corn fritters. The kids'...mac & cheese was ENORMOUS, and really delicious. The service was great too. The one issue we had was that we ate dinner in the outdoor veranda and there was an enormous fly problem. Granted, the staff warned us about the issue when we arrived -- so not sure if it's normal on a nice night or not -- but it was truly overwhelming. Not just one or two flies, but we spent the whole meal swatting dozens of them. They were relentless! We're only eating outdoors at this time for COVID purposes, otherwise we would have moved indoors immediately. The veranda is also pretty bare bones. I'm assuming it's a flex space that's turned over easily for events, too, but it left a bit to be desired. Note: The fly issue didn't make us question the cleanliness of the restaurant at all. It was due to there being wide open windows throughout the space, and likely the heat of the day. That said, we'd definitely recommend the restaurant for the food & service. If you're staying at the hotel, the takeout is a great option too.More

We had dinner here one night of our stay at the ICONA resort. We did not make reservations and were able to get a table, but had it been just a little busier I could see that we would have had a wait. My recommendation...would be to make a reservation. Service was good as was the food and drink. We kept it light; I had the roasted turkey club wrap with fries and their signature cocktail and everything was delicious.More
