The staff and owner of Rincon del Alma were absolutely amazing! We had such an amazing night there (three girls traveling). They had three for $10 cocktails (super strong) and the food was amazing! They plugged my phone into the music system and everyone (including the staff) danced the night away! It is also right in the center of town... More

Hands down our favorite bar in town. Great drink prices and staff. Lively atmosphere on the Main Street. After day trips and excursions we found ourselves relaxing here with a few cervazas.

We spend 8 of our 10 nights at this restaurant. The owner is very friendly and speaks english very Well. We absolutely loved the cocktails (always happy hour) and the food was great too! IT is not expensive and went there for both menu del dia and a la carte. You Will not be disappointed! Dana and Jan , netherlands

We ate here once and didn;t come again. The restaurant's furniture is old plastic or wood chairs and tables. The waiter did not write our order so we didn't get the ceviche dish we ordered, We ordered beef steak but after a couple of minutes the waiter said they are out of meat... Eventually we ordered the pizza and got... More

My husband and I needed a late lunch yesterday, and our tour guide suggested this place. It was great! We got a burger and a pizza (which was too much food, but my husband couldn't decide!). The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. They had no problem organizing our leftovers it to go, as well. It also... More

We have been several times at this restaurant, either for the menu of the day (at lunch) or for some beers + piqueos (late night). The food is not terribly "gourmet", but is good and relatively cheap when compared to the neighborhood. Overall, I would recommend this as "good value for money". It is not quite the place where you... More

We had chicken with rice and beans and frankly aside from being a bit overpriced the rice was not even well cooked which I think is rather amazing considering that Ecuadorians eat a lot of rice. Better and cheaper food at the kiosks that set up on the street one or two blocks up from the rock restaurant. had similar... More

We went to this restaurant because it was mentioned in the Lonely Planet Guide. There seemed to be a lot of locals and we love eating what the locals eat. The place was just a bare minimum, plastic tables and chairs, but it looked clean. I ordered grilled shrimp from the menu. We waited for 1 hour for the food... More
