Stopped at this place for a quick meal before leaving the island. The burger was delicious and only cost 4$. Very friendly local people.

We stumbled on this place walking back from the research center. We ordered their 5$ burgers that comes with fries. The burgers aren't huge with massive amounts of toppings but they are only 5$. The mango shake was great as well.

This is more like a family run business. Service is extremely slow, took about 1hr. I orders a garlic shrimp dish, there was hardly any garlic in it, honestly I couldn't taste any at all. It was covered in an oily dressing. I asked for streamed veggies with it, unfortunately it was over cooked and full of salt. Shrimps were... More

On the corner adjacent to Il Giardino is a popular, unpretentious local cafe serving daily almuerzos, fast food, and fresh juices and batidos. Excellent value, reasonable food, and courteous service.

… but this was the worst breakfast we had on the Galapagos. We'd just gotten off the morning ferry from Isabella and didn't have many options open for breakfast. The Tropic Bird was open, but lists only one breakfast option, the "continental" … large crescent roll, tasteless local cheese, small scrambled egg, and Nescafe. The mediocrity of the food was... Stopped into this corner local restaurant for the popular $4 set lunch. We have tried many set lunches in South America while Travelling the last 3 months and this was quite good- amazing fish soup, tropical juice and a shrimp curry (coconut sauce) with rice and beetroot salad. Friendly service and quick! Worth a stop- just look for the locals... More

I heard about this little gem via trip advisor so we tried it for lunch one day. We had the set lunch which was delicious fish soup and vegetables followed by your choice of main (beef or prawns). My sister had the prawns served in a light curry sauce with rice and salad. I had the need served in a... More

Ate here for lunch. Noticed locals eating soup that was not on the menu. I asked for it and received a delicious local style of soup (chicken broth, corn, potatoes, beef, carrots) which included a drink for $3USD. Absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed a good lunch here in this nicely decorated small place. We tried their mixed seafood rice dish and found the portion size to be enough for two persons. The service was quick and attentive. Also appreciated that we did not have to wait for the check.

This place is so unassuming as the patio has a limited number of outdoor seating. However, the food was great! We ordered a rice dish with octopus, which was basically a fancy fried rice dish with octopus. The octopus was cooked perfectly and the rice had great flavor! I had the spaghetti with seafood which I thought was going to... More
