Tasty grill, reasonable prices

I actually didn't visit Lovorka but I ordered their food, using Volt, čevapćići, ražnjići and vješalica (barbicue meat) plus lepinja (bread) and baklavas (sweet). With Volt food arrived for 40 minutes, was still hot and all was very tasty. So, for both Volt and Lovorka 5 star service and quality. Based on my previous visits,I can recommend Lovorka also as restaurant interior and exterior-they have large terrace, service was friendly, fast and professional. It is only 10 minutes drive from Rijeka city and taxi is cheap to Lovorka.

Michelin worthy!

This restaurant was peak in terms of service and food! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We had little to no waiting time with everything being freshly prepared. We had a Meat-plate with a freshly made salad before hand. It was delicious. I most definitely recommend this restaurant if you get the chance I’d say it is worth a detour to eat there especially since it is classic Croatian food.

The best grill of my life

The restaurant is just perfect to try local cuisine and be amongst the locals. The place is hidden and very few tourist go there but the cuisine is just exceptional and very cheap compared to other restaurant in Rijeka. I advice you to try the mixed grill plate for 3 people and their Shopska salad. I would definitely go back to eat there when I can, I had the best grill of my life!!

Due to the many very positive reviews, we also visited the Lovorka restaurant during our stay in Rijeka. It is located outside the city center in a rather industrial-looking area. When we got there on a Sunday evening around 6 p.m., there were very few visitors. The waiter spoke good German and joked with our young son. The menu offers typical local dishes; we opted for Cavapcici, or a minced meat sausage filled with cheese. The food tasted good, but we expected a bit more based on the reviews. The portions were more than sufficient and the price was OK. So while we would definitely recommend the restaurant, we probably wouldn't go there again due to the somewhat remote location.

Excellent meat

The food was excellent. Went there for "gravče na tavče" but unfortunately they didn't have it at that time, so we ordered "dževrek na kajmaku" and "vješalica" with some fries, salad and kajmak. Everything was excellent and we will go there again just to finally try "gravce na tavce".

For sure the best grill in Rijeka city! They have so many different types of meat dishes. They have also many balkan special dishes from Macedonia and Serbia. The prices are really ok. You need to try it.

Too busy, not enough staff

Exceptionally good

We had a great time in Lovorka, followed by delicious food. We were a group of 5 people and all of them were more than happy with ordered food. We enjoyed punjena vjesalica, cevapi, pljeskavica... and you must try their Gravce na Tavce, is a must with a main dish. Coffee was also good and the service was friendly and fast. There is a free parking space in front of the restaurant and nice terrace. All the best, will come again

We visited the restaurant after hearing only good things about the food. The location of it is great and the ambiance is nice.. We came around 30 minutes after it opened so the whole space was so cold, we (and some other guests) were sitting in our jackets. The food was just ok, nothing special.. We had two portions of grilled vegetables, and the size was too small for the price that we paid for it. I don't think we will be comming back.

We weren't totally satisfied with the meal as all the grilled vegetables were raw, ajvar wasn't anything extra though the served meat (pjeskavica) was all right and the baklava was also OK.
