One of most prestigious restaurant in Opatija. Have been there for business dinner. Location is fantastic, seafood delicious and service highly professional.

Bevanda lounge bar in Opatija is a great place to have a good time with family, food is fresh, music is good and sea view is marvelous.

Been here three times so far, twice on a business trip, once with a friend. Each time amazing food, great service and relaxing atmosphere. The view is beyond words. Food and wine pairing wonderful. The only problem is lack of parking space. There is none,...unless you're also a hotel guest.More

Unprofessional staff. Although the restaurant was empty, the waitress told us we can not order only desserts in the restaurant, because it’s too cheap to occupy the table…

The only good thing in this restaurant is the view. And the chairs were comfortable. The food was just poor, for a restaurant that is supposed to be 5 stars. We ordered three soups, all of them had a wierd and not a fresh taste....We also had pasta with “scampi”, but they were not scampi. They were shrimps. Then, we had some grilled fish. It is a shame that a fish of that quality was ruined, and not cooked properly. It was overcooked and looked like a mess when it came to the table. It tasted like it was fried, not grilled. Now we come to pay the bill. They put in the bill that the fish was 1,700 kg heavy. It was max 1,100 kg, not a gram more. They also charged us for olive oil which is on EVERY TABLE??? and you don’t have to use it. So why did they charge us for olive oil? Overall we expected a lot more, but obviously we were wrong. Back in the day this restaurant was the real deal. Only thing left from that is the name.More

If you don't mind aweful service and only care for very good, freshly and carefully prepared food, this is the restaurant in Opatija. The ambience is very stylish and tasteful, and almost all tables have nice views over the bay. The menu offers mainly fish...and seafood but also some meat dishes. Some of the fish and crustacean are alive in fishtanks, some presented on ice including French and local oysters; I tried the latter and loved it! We had Ceviche and oysters for starters, then a fish consommé, which was almost perfect if it weren't for the zucchini, and pasta with local scampi as well as meat for mains - all very, very good. This is where the good news stop. The service is at best up to a 3* hotel, certainly not 5*. The amuse gueule (which was nothing to write home about) was served before we have even ordered our dishes, and starters were served practically at the same time as the amuse gueule plates were cleared. The message was obvious: please don't stay in our restaurant for very long. The waiters knew very little if anything about their wines, which was then served too warm. Two of three waiters were uninterested and indifferent to say the least. Beware of the waiter with the earrings, he will ruin your evening with his rudeness and lack of manners and knowledge! Given that level of service, the restaurant is not good value for money, and we will certainly not return nor recommend it.More

We were recommended by hotel stuff and told that this is by far the best restaurant on the coast. What a mistake. Service was terrible, stuff very unkind and the food was below averrage. Not tasty at all. Definitelly the worst restaurant on the coast...and we have visited a lot.More

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and that is why what happened comes as a bigger surprise. Namely this is supposed to be a five star fine dining restaurant, yet we found a hair in our dish and when we told the waiter...about it, he just said: "Oh, yes", and went away. Consternated by his response, we called the manager who came and apologized, and offered us not to pay for that dish. Thanks genius, of course I am not going to pay for the dish with a hair in it. He should have made an extra step for us to feel better. At lease that is my experience with high class restaurants, which this one is far from. ..Instead of feeling reassured we rushed to finish the wine, and ran away, never to come back...More
