I’ve been coming to this place for years. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, fast turnaround for all dishes I’ve tried.

If you come here thinking you'll find a starred restaurant, you're sadly mistaken. 3 or 4 tables outdoors and the same number indoors, which are also uncomfortable. You order at the counter...you look the fresh fish in the face and choose it, then it is cooked and served to you. You don't know exactly how much you spend, because all prices are by weight. But this is the real authentic Croatian fishmonger's shop and the food is delicious, especially the scampi. In the end the price is still good, compared to the increases of the last year. We returned after years and were satisfied as much as the first times. The house wine is terrible. But despite this I maintain the 5 stars... I've said it all

Fresh fish and fresh seafood that you can choose from the display case. Everything is then freshly prepared. Tastes delicious there. We have been to this restaurant several times. Very cheap in terms of price. Best fish restaurant. The staff speaks all languages... German, English, Italian, Croatian. Really top 🤌🏻

They have been the cheapest place to get fried fish in Volosko. Most of the fish (like calamari) comes frozen from Argentina or Spain but it was the lowest price in town. Two seasons ago they suddenly doubled the prices for the same frozen fish they always served because they realized that most tourists don´t see the difference and pay anyway.

We ate there twice, they serve good and fresh food, and it is an authentic simple place. But the second day we got charged an excessively high price for a whole fish, which presumably was a first class fish but we do doubt that. If you go there and order from the fresh fish, make sure you check the kilo price and the weight when you order!

With the change of owner, the quality and service have also changed. It's time for a new tavern after more than 15 years. Apart from high prices and visibly increased rudeness, nothing new! A pity

The menu features prices not in servings but for 100 grams, and the customer does not know the billed amount until after the meal. We paid double what we expected. We have had better experiences in Croatia and in Volosko.

Dodgy pricing.No real explanation on what costs what. Overpriced.

This place is a pure gem - it's a super tiny place, it has just a few outside tables (if you come during peak hours be ready to wait for one of them to get free) and inside just one glass case where their daily fish offer is displayed so you can pick your food directly from there. They have all kinds of Adriatic fish, some appetizers (squid salad, cod pâté, etc) all of it fresh and mmmm so yummy. The ladies working there are wonderful and payment is only in cash!
