It is a ripp off ! It is overpriced the fish was overcooked ,there is no service and they charge triple to the tourist ! Avoid at all costs
They have been the cheapest place to get fried fish in Volosko. Most of the fish (like calamari) comes frozen from Argentina or Spain but it was the lowest price in town. Two seasons ago they suddenly doubled the prices for the same frozen fish...they always served because they realized that most tourists don´t see the difference and pay anyway.More
Amazing homelike cousine! Looks like street food but perfectly made. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere. Do not miss
Very nice yet simple seafood restaurant off the shore in Volosko! We had jumbo prawns, squid, a red tuna steak grilled rare, a skewer and some sardines, all ordered at the counter and brought after 15 minutes. I can recommend this place for really nice...but unpretentious seafood.More
I’ve been coming to this place for years. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, fast turnaround for all dishes I’ve tried. If you’re looking for a typical regional place where locals eat all the time, definitely go here.
There is a number of nice restaurants in the vicinity of this one, but if you want to eat with locals visit this Konoba. You order directly from the street, where you see kitchen, go few stairs down to the restaurant and eat excellent fresh...sea food. Nice octopus salad, monk-fish on grill, home made bread, glass of excellent red wine for only 206 KN (28 EUR) for two persons!More
A phenomenal tuna steak at a restaurant on the street full of galleries. And only a hundred meters away the best cakes in the area.
Fresh fish from the Adriatic directly on your plate for great prices! We always go there wanting to eat grilled anchovies but we often end up eating other delicious fish, shells or octopus. Delicious house wine and a cozy small table on the stairs...
At the beginning I thought it was a nice and local address to eat fresh seafood at a reasonable prices. The restaurant is indeed quit local and small. The service is really rustic but still friendly. The food was good but when I saw the...bill at the end it was even more expensive than a nice restaurant in Paris! 600 KN (85 eur) for 8 skampi (shrimps) it is just a robbery!!! I should have asked the price before ordering but I was not expecting this at all.More
Everything about this place is amazing. The food, staff, atmosphere and position are worth every penny, especially if you like small, local restaurants. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
This time we had a light lunch: 400 grams of fried calamari (220KN per kilo, excellent), 200 grams of fried sardines (120KN per kilo, excellent). Service was ok, but not friendly. No credit card. Would go again!
Went just for a quick lunch and surprised by the freshness and ingredients, a classico konoba which is a insuder tip for simple gourmets, Thank you for showing me that simple is the best way to enjoy sea food.
The prices written on the board do not match the final price that you are charged. The food is tasty but prepare to be charged more than you expect.
My wife and I chose this as our "go to" restaurant in Volosko. The staff was busy and worked very hard, but was always friendly and considerate. We ate there several times. We always enjoyed the food from their daily specials to our special requests....We especially liked the calamari and the tuna. I always added the mixed salad which was fresh and delightful. We also usually enjoyed their white wine. The tables by the street were very nice, but sometimes required a wait. Bottom line: great food at a great price!More
