We have loved coming here to eat for several years. The seating is beautiful right by the harbor and the food is always consistently good quality. The grilled fish was excellent, as were the scampi, scallops and calamari! The perfectly prepared tartare is highly recommended for meat lovers! The service is attentive and friendly. Make sure to make a reservation in season and on weekends!

Great pizza place

Great spot for after beach quick bite. Pizza range from 10-12,5€ for mainstream and 15-18€ for specials. Fish and meat dish in lower deck, great terrace for pizzeria. Finally value for money in Opatija!

We got a table without Reservation. Service was nice but planless. We waited more than an hour for dinner. We had the fish plate for 2 people for the price of 70€. It was on it: 2 shrimps with head and scissors, a handful of mussels, 4 small pieces of fish, a portion of coriander and a bowl of boiled potatoes. We were neither full nor happy. Our most expensive and worst culinary experience in Opatija. It's too bad.

Totally disappointing on portions

Sorry to give a 0, we are on world vacation and never put a complaint in but have to say something here. We are both recently retired and Ate at this restaurant from recommended advice from the 5 star hotel Amelia in Opatija in northern Croatia . We have extensively traveled the world and sooo cranky at this restaurant. We ordered a entree each of oysters and octopus salad. Then ordered seafood plater for two. We believe this meal would not satisfy a person of one never alone us two oldies,we are both in our 60’s, when we questioned the bill and still very hungry they questioned my intake of alcohol we had two beers!!!. So disappointed here and want to give a negative review. We asked for manager but off course no one there . Don’t go there!!!!!!!!!

Low key and amazing food

Yacht Club was recommended to us by a Cruise Director who lives in Opatija. Loved the food, harbor side serene setting and low noise environment that we could simply enjoy meal with a quiet intimate onversation. Service was first rate and friendly. A very good vibe. Highly recommend

Delicious and surprisingly affordable

We had dinner there one evening and enjoyed it so much that we came back the next evening (which is something we never do). By far the best food we had in Opatija and top two for a fortnight in Croatia. Friendly and professional staff. Given that a meal for three including some beer and softdrinks, starter and salads was just under 50Euros affordable and given the quality actually very good value.

We were in Opatija with a US tour company and this place was recommended to us. There were 8 in our party and our reservation was for 7 pm, they sat us promptly…but all went downhill from here as we didn’t get served until two hours later. Our food was decent but not excellent and two different Scampi dishes (Risotto; Gnocchi) were “light” on the shrimp. A plus was that each couple was given a separate bill. Overall it was a very disappointing experience; not at all what a meal in this resort town should be.

Very large selection of fish

We were eating at the yacht club and reserved a table the day before. Unfortunately, there were only tables inside because there was an occasion outside. The service and food were very good. Prices are set rather high. The chosen dragonhead fish (about 1.4kg for 2P.) was around EUR 125. We would certainly go back to the yacht club, although we would probably take something else out of the map.

Great Seafood, Service & Atmosphere!!

We looked at many menus in town while walking around. Settled on the Yacht Club for its location in the harbor and Seafood menu that included octopus salad. We ordered octopus salad, seafood with long pasta that tasted like gnocchi and cuddlefish soup. And had their house white wine. The wine tasted like a fine Chardonnay dry, toasty and finished delicious on the tongue. The seafood was excellent! We had a tiramisu desssert that was creamy and delightful. We sat in open window patio area right on the boats in the harbor. Couldn’t be better. Our server was Renato. Great personality, excellent recommendations, very responsive and helpful We highly recommend this restaurant for great Seafood, Atmosphere & Service!

Excellent two nights in a row

Just back from second evening here in two nights. Yesterday I went with friends and it was great. So good I decided to come back alone this evening and it was even better. This evening I had 3 excellent dishes - a half portion of the grilled squid with polenta, whole fish with spinach, and an incredibly simple but delicious desert of figs soaked in Prosecco with mascarpone. All really really good. Couple with great food with a gorgeous setting right on the water, and fantastic service from Luca, and you have a recipe for success. Thank you Yacht club and thank you Luca - you really made my evening.

Food was ok, average, but the dishes and utensils are mostly placed below walking area of the city of Opatija (this refers to the case if you're eating outside). It is true that this place is in a harbour but don't forget that in a harbour you can smell gasoline. This was here the case. The outer tables are too closely set.

Spectacular!

We had a business dinner there and it was fabulous. For antipasto, they served tris consisting of octopus salad, anchovies and marinated sardines, all really good. Then we had 2 types of pasta- pljukanci with mixed shells and black (cuttlefish) risotto. This was spectacular! Finally, for mains we had sea bream, also really good. The place is also nice, by the sea, the staff is really professional and unobtrusive, and this place has my recommendation.

Completely renovated place with amazing view, best pizza in Rijeka/Opatija region & friendly staff. Upstairs is pizza and meat and downstairs is fish restaurant. I ate upstairs. Pizza is amazing 🔥👏. Fiorentina meat was super soft. So my recommendation is pizza and if you want meat fiorentina.
