Quintessential Adriatic local! 4 other restaurants lining a small harbor (more like a pond) with fishing boats. People strolling by, really quaint. We sat outside, second row of tables in from the walkway. I recommend reservations and specifically ask for the outside table. Reason: everyone smokes here and the breeze blows in from the harbor so anything inside the first... More

We went to this restaurant almost by a chance. I was running in the promenade and I saw a nie place to have a dinner with our friends. Once we got there around 22:00 (and completly full) we had the luck to talk with one of the waiters and the owner (sorry, but I don´t remmenber their names now). The... More

We have come here because of a recommendation from our Austrian friends. Never doubt an Austrian! This Restaurant was the best experience for a long time. Just right portions with premium cooked food. Highly recommended - this was writen by a gourmet!

We personally in this restaurant always ate only fish menu that were always fresh and well prepared. The staff is professional and very kind. The wine list is extensive with an excellent selection of wines. However, for serving standard fish menus with a bottle of good wine, price of 70 euros per person is a little too high.

This is the best restaurant in Kvarner Bay area by far. A beautiful location in the tiny fishing port of Volosko right on the water's edge. The proprietor Danijela is a through and immaculate hostess with a very comprehensive knowledge of local and regional wines. Her team are long standing staff members who excel at their work and the menu... More

It was a little too hot. I suggest the fans for the balcony. All at the base of the fish and the sea was very tasty . Service was at the highest level . Only thing that is the eservation via email is not up to date , because the employees are not responsive. I would have liked more variety... More

After many years of hearing about the famed Plavi Podrum, my wife and I were excited to finally dine there on a recent visit to Opatija. I will cut to the chase and spare the lengthy details of our unpleasant service and disappointing culinary experience. Perhaps this was once a fine dining establishment, today it's just fine in a mediocre... More

This is a local seafood place known among the locals. It is placed in the suburb of Opatija called Volosko, next to the sea. Here, one can find interesting meals and good selection of wine. This is followed by really good service. Moderate portions do not bother, since taste is quite extraordinary. Chocolate cake is perfect. I do recommend this... More
