We had a great Dinner that satisfied all of our family, adults and kids. The kids definitely dug into the delicious bread basket that started our meal. My grandchildren ate 2 baskets full. If you go to Atlantic City you must go to Carmine's.

We have been here several times but recently only because we went along with others who wanted to go here. This place is usually very busy but I don't get it. The menus are printed on the wall. Depending upon where you sit and how good your vision is you might have to get up and hover over someone else's... More

If you're looking for homemade, FAMILY-STYLE, Italian cuisine - and you're in Atlantic City, look no further! Carmine's is amazing!! The restaurant is located inside the Tropicana on the Boardwalk, and is two levels. Prices are generous, but so are the servings! The only down side: the wait times can get extensive (we had a 45 minute wait, so plan... More

Made reservations which are recommended. The waitress was friendly and attentive, she explained the specials and how Carmines was a family style restaurant so we should take our time with the menu because there would be a lot of food if we ordered too many dishes. We ordered pasta with Bolognese sauce and Chicken Marsala. Both were very good with... More

This is a first class restaurant in an otherwise crumbling Atlantic City. My son and I shared oysters and enjoyed the very extensive menu selections.

Carmine's is located in the old quarter of the Tropicana Hotel. Note: A reservation is a must but at Carmine's the reservation time is merely a suggestion. The people before you just won't leave. They're too comfortable. First of all the menu is traditional Italian and it is extensive. While the prices may seem a little salty at first glance... More

Second time at Carmine's. Gotta make a reservation or you're never getting in, at least not at a normal time. Family style Italian. Good food. Salads are awesome. Only draw back......hard to judge how much food to get. We always over buy and it isn't cheap. It's definitely a place you have to watch what you're ordering. You'll end up... More

This was our first visit to the restaurant. We sat at the bar. The service was outstanding. The food was excellent. Make sure you make a reservation. Definitely a place to eat when you are in Atlantic City

We're pretty sure the happy hour can only be at the bar and though it is a decent sized bar, I'm not a fan of that concept as it is limited. Drink specials weren't that great but some of the apps were and they were decently sized. Bartender was great and she was fun with all of the regulars.

We had a party of 13 that they were able to accommodate comfortably. The service was impeccable. They accidentally brought the wrong dish, left it for us to eat, and replaced it with the original order at no charge! Drinks were flowing and food kept coming. Wait staff was professional. We celebrated 2 birthdays and everyone was very happy. Restaurant... More

Description
Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. The Carmine's concept is to bring its guests a "wow-factor" sized portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of homestyle antipasto, pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing amongst friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's.
