On recent trip we stayed at a famous AC casino/hotel which had no dinning options open even though all other places were running full function. Looked around for a good sit down place and found this gem in ResortsAC casino. Went there for dinner with...family and was wowed from the moment we stepped in! Gorgeous decor transported us to someplace else, didn’t feel like the “casino” at all. We requested outdoor seating which I highly recommend. It is overlooking the boardwalk & steel pier. One could spend hours just sitting there and enjoying a drink while taking in the soothing sound of the waves crashing onshore, listening to the sounds of people and music of rides from the pier. The server, Cynthia, was amazing! From the get go, she guided us in selecting food, drinks, desserts et al. We ordered quite a few things and polished them all! Burrata toast, salad, crispy egg plant, gnocchi, meatballs were all perfectly made and delectable. Then came the chocolate soufflé….oh my! Cynthia, again to the rescue - she put it together for us mixing in cream, fresh berries and needless to say, we wolfed it all down! I can go on, but in summary, highly recommend this place and if you go there, ask for Cynthia, she will take good care of you!More

We were at Capriccios in Resorts on Friday evening. The restaurant is beautiful with an amazing wait staff. The food there is second to none. The cuisine is Italian with many traditional choices. For those who prefer others types of foods…they have additional choices. I...absolutely love the lobster ravioli with a scoop of lobster salad in the center. The sauce is a vodka type and is perfect for wiping or dabbing up with the delicious breads. This is a restaurant not to be missed. This visit our wait staff was Steve and Jose, but we have been served in the past by many of them and they are all fantastic. Your Maitre d.s. are Joseph and Elvie and they over make sure the restaurant is running smooth. This is a top restaurant that you shouldn’t miss on your next AC trip.More

We drove from Portland, Maine to Atlantic City for a few days of R&R, then it was off to visit Seton Hall for our son's college visit. After driving all day on Father's Day, I wanted my husband to enjoy a good meal and when...looking online, I heard nothing but rave reviews about Capriccio's on the Boardwalk. I made reservations and after a few hours resting up in our hotel, we headed to the restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant; upon walking in, we passed a large well-stocked bar and a very friendly gentleman who was making drinks. We were led to our large booth facing the water. We were immediately asked what type of water we wanted; another server (Wiston) took our drink order. Hubby's classic gin martini was strong and my Prosecco was one of the better tasting I've had. We also were served by Steve who was "all business". The menu was medium sized but offered a good variety of Italian favorites. We opted for a make-your-own antipasto. My husband ordered the lobster bisque and lobster ravioli. I ordered the lobster bisque and the filet mignon. You can choose a side for an additional cost; I opted for the Tuscan fingerling potatoes. Our son chose the chicken marsala which came with spaghetti. All of our meals, including the bisque were well portioned and delicious. A handful of other patrons were celebrating birthdays as the singing and clapping came often. The dessert menu (all were $11 each) included 7 different items I believe. We shared the vanilla souffle as well as a slice of peanut butter cannoli cake. DELICIOUS !! We spent almost 2 hours from beginning to end; we never felt rushed. The service was great, especially Wiston and we even got Steve to loosen up by the time we left! A bit pricey, but worth it especially if celebrating any occasion or if you just want to treat yourself to delicious Italian fare.More

We visted this restaurant on June 16, 2021 and want a treat it was ! We last visited in 2015 and knew if/when we came back to Atlantic City we'd return to Cappriccio. We were so glad to see it survived the Covid pandemic ....We started our night off with a few cocktails at the restaurant bar . Our bartender was Teresa who definitely was not the most personable bartender but didnt ruin our experience. We were hoping that Ulysses was still there but unfortunately he was not. We sat down for a dinner a lovely window seat with a beautiful ocean view ( ask for a window seat if available) . Robert/Bobby was our waiter and Kit was his assistant, both took care of every need ! Bobby has been working there 32 yrs and his experience showed in regards to knowledge and service. We ordered the Veal chop w mushroom risotto and the Chicken parmesean qith rigatoni, both dinners were out of this world just as it had been the last time we ate there. We also ordered anoce bottle of presseco that went perfectly with dinner. We will definitely be back to Cappriccio on our next visit to Atlantic City ! Mangia !More

My girlfriend and I came here this past Sunday for dinner and everything was AMAZING! We initially came here for a friend's birthday about 2-3 weeks prior and wanted to come back for a more intimate experience. The waiter that took our order this visit...though didn't seem so pleasant. When ordering, considering it is an Italian restaurant, I figured I'd take a shot at the Italian pronunciations of what I was ordering. I got myself the Filetto Di Manzo (Filet Mignon), my girlfriend ordered the Ravioli Di Aragosta (Lobster Ravioli), and Patate Fritte All’erbe (French Fries w/ parm & fresh herbs) to share. This time around the lobster ravioli was not as fresh as last time, but we're hopeful that in our next visit the cooking staff will have stepped up their game. When asking about the french fries we just wanted to make sure they were normal cut fries and not the 4 piece wedges we had seen pictured in another review. The waiter's response seemed very snarky, which wasn't professional at all as he scoffed in attempts to make us feel dumb. More importantly, this individual rarely checked in on us throughout our meal. Perhaps a bad day or just couldn't wait to get home? We've all been there so I tried not to take his demeanor to heart. I was pleased though with the rest of the team making us feel comfortable. Despite this minor discrepancy, check-in with Elvie and the attention by Jose & Albeiro was more than enough to get my girlfriend and me to come again! Thanks again to Tita Elvie, to the primos Jose & Albeiro, and especially to the Manager, Joe(if you are reading this, my deepest apologies as I forgot to write your name down)! We will definitely be back!More

This is the most overrated restaurant in AC. The service is the worst and the food is subpar. All these “excellent” reviews are from people who obviously don’t know good Italian food. This is a total farce. Please do not believe the hype and don’t...waste your time here. I have given this restaurant many opportunities to change my opinion, but they have failed every time.More

What a fantastic evening to celebrate a 10th anniversary! From the time we were greeted at the hostess stand, the service was absolutely outstanding! Once we were seated at our table (what a stunning dining room and view!), Jose, Genaro and Albero anticipated every aspect...of our dinner experience. The drinks were great and the food was amazing! We were even serenaded with 'Happy Anniversary' at the end - very nice way to top off the dinner. If you are looking for the best Italian dining experience in Atlantic City, you will not be disappointed with Capriccio's!More

Took our family of 4 to dinner here. Cynthis and tge other c wait staff were great. Started w Italian long hots and gnocchi in blush sauce as apps. Absolutely perfect. The Italian bread and garlic oil dipping sauce was to die for. Lobster ravioli,...chicken parmesan and scallops were the entrees we selected. Large portions and excellent. Beautiful art and fresh flowers abound. Totally relaxing after busy work week. Nice escape.More

Didn't have the usual required reservation, but the nice lady at the desk worked me in and gave me a great table with a view. The wait staff was there in a flash with bread and olive oil and water. When I tried to order...a glass of wine, the waiter reminded me that I had a free offer for a whole bottle and it was on the table in less than five minutes. I ordered the Sunday special and could not eat it all, so the staff boxed it and the wine and I was on my way to finish it later in my room. All in all, it was one of the best fining experiences I have had at any casino and highly recommend this place. Reminded me of a restaurant I visited in Rome with its clean and elegant decor. And the wait staff could have been flown in from Italy the way they handled service without being instrusive or pushy. Like this place and will go back soon. Worth the drive from Boston. But this time, I will make a reservation adn not take a chance on not getting in.More
