Amazing fresh seafood, classic preparations and great service. Piano player in the bar, great cocktails and fresh oysters! Try the champagne leek oysters, chowder, soft shell crabs

We have been going to Dock's in AC for years. They underwent a huge renovation within the last 12 months and reopened at the beginning of this Summer. The bar is much larger, the number of tables increased by 5 fold and there is party space upstairs. That is the good (?) news. The bad news is that it is... More

Went early for dinner during the week. Seated promptly. Had Dan as a server- he was excellent- very attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes. We had potato encrusted flounder (2), flounder francaise (special) and halibut as our entrees. Also had some appetizers (oysters, soup). Everything was delicious though it's not cheap. The banana creme pie was awesome. No complaints. Complimentary... More

This place was a great find. The conceirge at Harrahs let us in on this gem. Locally owned. Seafood was fantastic. Service was spot on

I had been to Dock's before and liked the food, but I found the dining room loud and too crowded. I just went to the new remodeled Dock's and was pleasantly surprised. There's room around the tables, the noise level is lower and overall it does not seem to be as crowded although it's still insanely popular. We had a... More

The 2 specials of the evening were superb!!! The salad was a Romaine lettuce with apples, caramelized onions, feta cheese, cranberries (whole not dried), cucumbers and nuts... Best salad I have had.. The entrée was a scallop plate with risotto, spinach in a light tomato sauce. YUMMY.. The atmosphere was very cozy and the wait staff was very attentive.

Now I know why Atlantic City is dying. Dock's may have been great once, but the newly enlarged version has spent the money on hospitality they've apparently shorted in the kitchen. I can't fault the oysters, but all you need do is open them, like a can. The Maine chowder was kind of bland, the salmon special looked like and... More

We have been going to Dock's for at least a dozen years, and were disappointed that they were renovating (closed) a few months ago. .After their major renovation, our group went back last night. The food is still superb, and the service remains very good.. BUT (and it is a big negative) the very loud din made it impossible to... More

Now, if you are just dying for fresh seafood, then why not dine surrounded by history? Dock's Oyster House has been delivering seafood and steaks to the locals and visitors alike in Atlantic City since 1897. The service alone should make this place legendary, but something tells me that people keep coming back for the food. This is the ideal... More

Dock's has been here since before 1900 and the same family has operated the restaurant for several generations. They now also own The Knife and Fork Inn and Harry's Oyster Bar at Bally's. The three venues are considered by many to be the best restaurants in Atlantic City. Dock's has recently been completely renovated and is beautiful. The food is... More
