Weekend in AC for my daughters birthday. Arrived late at night and had great pizza. Going to make it a staple for every AC trip.

Just a longtime old fashion Italian restaurant and pizaria. Short on looks, long on quality. Great for families and groups

Fifties/Sixties bar and grill atmosphere with jukeboxes at each booth. American and Italian food. The meatballs and spaghetti was good and plentiful. Friendly, old-fashioned neighborhood feeling.

I hit the jackpot in Atlantic City. NO NOT THAT KIND OF JACKPOT. The food jackpot. This venerable Italian restaurant opened in the 1920s and is one block away from the Tropicana. It looks from the outside like a senior citizen hobbling toward 100 years old and it looks that way inside as well. With all of the sleeker venues... More

I was told that this restaurant opened in the 1920's - it looks like it. I wanted to order a large salad with honey mustard. The waitress, who probably worked there way back then, said they only have oil and vinegar. She told me that I could leave and walk down the block to a convenience store and purchase my... More

I just stopped in for a sandwich and a beer because I had seen this place in passing so many times and it looked so interesting and different from AC's usual tourist-like places. And I had read great reviews. I admit I have yet to try the pizza but that is still on my agenda. But they have great sandwiches!

I Grew up in Atlantic City and everytime I go back, I always go to Tony's. My father passed last October and lived on Iowa Ave. My husband and my son and myself went to tony's while there for a few days and got half sausage and half cheese pizza!! OMG!! IT WAS SO GOOD!! Not real thick crust but... More

Just know that going it, it's a craphole, but sit at the bar and order the meatball pizza and a Miller Lite, do not talk to the bums near you. Enjoy

I discovered Tony's Baltimore Grill many years ago. Although they may be dated, I can't wait to get there! They still make the same pizza and sauce recipes they did from long ago. In today's world I find this amazing and comforting. Traditional equals stability in my book. I now live in West Virginia but when I'm in the area... More
