My husband & I stopped in after day spent on the beach. We had low expectations after ranking through the reviews of this establishment however I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I ordered buffalo wings which were delicious, my husband got crab fries & cream of crab soup. The home made brewed beer was good. The menu seemed a little limited but we only stopped for beers and apps. This place has a great design. If you stay in the Sheraton they deliver to your room. Definitely worth a stop when you're in town. We enjoyed our time and we would eat here again.

Stopped here for dinner and what a pleasant surprise! I had the slow roasted pulled pork sandwich and it did not disappoint. Plenty of sauce and topped with glazed onion straws. Came complete with a generous portion of cole (cream) slaw and baked beans (without pesky green peppers mixed in). The messiest I’ve been in awhile, but oh how satisfying it was! My wife had fish and chips, which she upgraded to sweet potato fries. The fish was very good and the sweet potato fries were great she said - some of the she’s had in awhile!
As far as beers, there were five on tap so we got a flight that included one of each. The majority we felt were unremarkable but we got drafts of the two we enjoyed the most - the Diving Horse IPA and the Stout.

While at a conference in the Atlantic City Convention Center, a few of us attendees came here for lunch. This pub/restaurant is in the Sheraton across the driveway from the Convention Center, so it’s a very quick walk from the conference.
The place was packed during lunchtime, as I imagine it always is when bigger conferences are in town. We got seats at the bar. The bartenders taking care of us were friendly and helpful… they were great! But the kitchen seemed a little backed up. It took about 20 mins for my food to arrive. Once it got there, it was really good! Their French Dip is made with a really tasty, fresh, tender beef and the bun and broth were both excellent too. I got mine with onion rings instead of fries and those onion rings were great.
Overall, the food and venue was great. Nice menu too! But the slow kitchen is why I’m knocking them down a star. Definitely worth stopping in tho!!

The food was good however the service was horrible. I know the restaurant business is hurting for workers but we are there on a Sunday night. Probably 10-15 people in the restaurant with plenty of servers. Served food no silverware, could not get refills on drinks, lots at standing around. Waitress never checked on us and when looked for her found her eating. Served food and never returned until end we had to grab other waitresses. It was really cold inside like uncomfortably cold.

We stay at the Sheraton for the first time and thought we would give this place a try. We were very disappointed in our dinner main food entrees and couldn’t eat them. We started with some wings and tried their crab soup. We did not like the buffalo wing sauce we selected and the wings were over fried. We however did enjoy the crab soup. That was the only positive item of the whole meal.
My wife ordered “Peggy Mullen” 12oz strip steak. It had a terrible tasting seasoning that killed the flavor of the steak. I got the boardwalk crab cakes. These were definitely the worst crab cakes that I have ever tried in my life. They had no taste to them at all. Even the breading you could not taste.
This place might be better for lunch with burgers or something, but we doubt we will take that chance and just avoid it in the future. Try at your own risk.

I am on the committee for our family reunion and we set up our meet and greet for our family members at Tun Tavern on Friday, July 26th around 3:30pm. Irena, the manager was awesome with making sure we had a spread of wings, chicken fingers and fries and pitchers of water. She was very patient and accommodating . When our family arrived some ate the appetizers and some purchased meals. We all had a great experience and felt relaxed and welcomed thanks to Irena and her staff that evening.

Good bar food and waitress was fine. Had a beer flight— the brewery has some great options. Crab cakes were ok not great as was the pulled pork. Prices are decent for AC. Great location if you are attending an event at the convention center. Attached to the sheraton so we had very easy access in a wheelchair. Get a reservation cuz they are busy. Environment is fun & lively.

I discovered Diving Horse AC IPA a few months back and have been searching everywhere in my area without success. Finally found it at TUN this weekend, grabbed three jugs, and enjoyed a fantastic meal with the family. A big shoutout to the brewer, Cory, and the amazing staff! Looking forward to a refill in a few months.

As a Marine I have wanted to go to Tun Taverne and finally had the chance. The food was excellent, especially the appetizers. We had a group of seven so made a reservation. The staff was super friendly and helped us with souvenirs too. Free parking while you are in the restaurant. So glad our group went. Got plenty of photos.
