We’ve been twice. This is a tapas style restaurant so beware how you order. The first time, the first few plates came out one after another with no breathe in between. We told our server to slow things down and we then waited 45-minutes for...our next course. No happy medium. The second time was better as we knew their system and placed our orders one at a time and specifically told our server not to rush us. It was nice enough but it’s not relaxing and requires you to strategize how to order. Amanda at Ocean is also Garces and somehow seems to run more smoothly.More

We had an 8pm reservation this past Saturday for a party for 4. We arrived at 7:50pm and were told that our reservation was for 8pm (10 minutes away) so we could not check in until then. We went to the bar for drinks. My...husband and I were served our drinks from the bartender, then the couple we were with went to order glasses of wine the bartender walked away. She then came back after a few minutes to get their drinks. At 8pm we went back to the desk to check in and they said that we needed to wait for our table to be ready. We were then brought to our table 5 minutes later. We were sitting there until 8:35pm without a server coming by to even greet us so at that point we made the decision to leave. We sat there for 30 minutes!!!! As we were walking out one of the staff was telling us to please come back and sit down. We told him no and walked out. We went to The Palm and they were able to get us a table even though they were packed and we had amazing service and an amazing dinner! If you want great service I would not go to Olon.More

This was our second visit. We took the price fix menu, where we were asked before being served if we have allergy or if there is certain category of food to avoid. Food was plenty, fresh and presentable. A must if you are staying at...the Tropicana. Need to make reservations few days ahead.More

A quiet dinner. The restaurant has a seaside view and is in muted shades of beige. The menu has really two choices, main entrees or small dishes. My friend had the salmon and I had the sea bass. Good cocktails. Our dessert sounded better than it...tasted. Our server was very nice but I just felt that while it was good, there were better places fo rseafood. and no need to go back for the seafood.More

We walked in without a reservation so we had to sit at the bar, which was a bummer. But at the same time, a great band playing Cuban/Puerto Rican sounds we’re there. The drinks (Martini) was great. Danielle (I think that was her name) was...our bar tender. The food was good and plentiful as well.More

As a Tropicana player I was offered a Gourmet Dinner for two. I figured I’d go to McDonald’s if I didn’t like it. The most intense flavor and I enjoyed everything 1000 %. Jose Garcia impressive. I’m speechless how much I enjoyed it. From soup...to dessert to bread out of this world. Prefix is a fantastic deal Comped was even better. I’ve looked at the menu before and it was of no interest. We came for dinner and were exceptionally pleased with everything. the cocktails we thoroughly enjoyed with the "Flight of the Condor" and "Maracuya" - absolutely delicious with a lovely snack of the house made specialty bread and dipping sauce. we enjoyed dinner of grilled octopus...and anticuchos of Pork belly, Yuzu Glaze, sweet potato, ginger & garlic were delicious! Lovely decor and service with a smile and happy to describe and make recommendations. A place we will certainly return to and tell our friends.More

The place was empty and they didn't want to let us sit outside. It's the shore for crying out loud. Waitress gave us total attitude until it was time to give the check, then she was all sweetie pie. Food was decent, but overpriced.

Very disapointing My Husband and I joined a few friends for dinner and 4 out of the 6 dishes were horrible. The $29 dollor shrimp dinner came with 6 small over cooked fried shrimp (very overpriced). My friends Lobster Bisq was too salty for him...to eat. Another friend had Steak and it was also too salty. My Husand had the Pork Chop and he said it was a little salty but not enough to send it back.More

The atmosphere was bright and open with great ocean views from almost every table. We had reservations and were seated right on time. The waiter was helpful navigating the menu between appetizers, small plates and entrees. The service was excellent. The cerviche was good, not...great but the oysters and octupus were outstanding. The best part of this dining option was you did not feel obliged to order large dinner entrees. Excellent chocie for pre-show or to just unwind before an evening of entertainment.More

I really enjoyed it. For me the $29 AYCE was worth it. You can order off the menu too. The $7 bloody that the bartender builds for you was a good deal too.
