Located on a quiet residential street, this little gem is well hidden. Actually part of an old hotel building from Asbury Park's glory days (see what I did there Bruce?), the dining experience gets high marks. At the upper end of the price range, but the food is good and the service was very attentive. Small lobby bar in the... More

I'm not sure if this place is called The Tides Restaurant, The Tides or the Restaurant at the Hotel Tides but whatever it's called, I call it one of the best white table cloth restaurants on the Jersey Shore. At the risk of being obvious, the restaurant is located in the Hotel Tides in Asbury Park (no surprise there) and... More

The food was good but not worth the price. We got mainly seafood that was fresh. The crab cake was incredible, but our main dishes were average. We ordered the bread pudding which was clearly microwaved, it was rubbery and hard. This would be a great place to get appetizers and drinks, not a dinner.

We had never heard of this restaurant and came by it because we were looking for new and interesting restaurants in Asbury Park and found other reviews on Trip Advisor. We had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and the food was delicious (make sure you try the Eggplant 'Meatballs'). We were there on a Wednesday night and had... More

We have eaten at the bar and in the restaurant. Bar is smallish, but comfortable. Drinks were great and service impeccable...... service inside restaurant wonderful as well. Food consistent and always delicious and fresh. Restaurant is romantic and we had a lovely price fix Valentines Day dinner there two years ago.

The Hotel and restaurant is rich in History. We came to the restaurant for Father's Day dinner. We ordered corn and lobster bisque, house salad, crab cake, mussels, short ribs and pork chop. At the beginning fresh hot rolls were served. Everything was delicious. Our waiter, Carl was very attentive. The chef is Jeff Parenty. He comes from a long... More

If this lovely restaurant was on Cookman, it would be packed every night. Excellent, creative food. Beautiful and unique dining room that makes you feel as if you are in a fairy tale. Exceptional service. This place has it all. We have mixed feelings about whether we want it to be "discovered" by the hoards now crowding Asbury. We want... More

We visited the restaurant in the Hotel Tides once again last night. The food was excellent, however, this time the service was a bit slow. There were not enough wait staff to accommodate the diners. The restaurant was packed. I had the halibut which was excellent. So were the meatball appys. My hubby has the steak. It was very good, but... More

The serve as well as the food was excellent. The butterscotch bacon appetizer and mussels with chorizo were great. The entrees of stuffed pork chop and braised short ribs were superb. Soft lighting and mellow music made the dinner enjoyable.
