Chef Juan took great care of me here. His lunch menu which includes soup, juice and a main was a stunning 1,200 pesos! I ate here every day during my stay. Will miss you sir!

I got caught in the rain, so decided to head over to Miroku before my errands were done and of course they weren't open for dinner yet - HOWEVER they graciously offered me a roof over my head and a beer with my meal 30min...later which was outstanding. So good, I headed over for the burger & fries for lunch the next day. Fries in a cool cup holder, the best burger I have had yet in S.A. and all served on a huge piece of granite - I felt like a king:) Family owned business and highly recommended!!More

We rocked up at 9pm and they kept the restaurant open just for us. The food was delicious (we had blue pork and a rolled chicken dish), and really good value (about 20.000 a main). Servings weren't huge, but fair for the price. We also...enjoyed the desserts - though I didn't love the chocolate one. Definitely a great restaurant to tryMore

We went there on our first night in Medellin and we had a lovely time. The woman who serviced us is the owner's mum and she did a really good job! The food was tasty and well presented! If you are looking for a casual...dinner with good food around this area this is a great place!More

Amazing place, great food, had the salad which was a nice intermezzo from all the greasy colombian streetfood, even as a backpacker it was afordable. Five out of five, good service!

I stayed in the Floresta neighborhood and this place was just a few blocks away. We ended up going here almost every day; the lunch specials were always unique and tasty and a nice dinner menu also. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the...area, I was never disappointed.More

My boyfriend and I came here whilst staying in Estadio. So glad we found it! The chef was so friendly and helped talk us through the menu. The food was delicious, fresh, and big portions... All for a great price. Would highly recommend!

After visiting the Cnn featured Comuna 13 mechanical staircases I decided venture around these tiny neighborhoods on my way down. After a long walk found this cute restaurant. I don't remember seen many around this Foresta neighborhood. It's pretty much adjacent to the impoverished 'Comunas'...and little off the traditional 'paisas' and fast food joints lunch can be found. The service was quick and mannerly served. For that unexpensive bill man I was lucky to find such tasty, well prepared Menú del dia. Don't remember the exact name of the fish but was tender almost melting in my mouth. Delicious!More

Staying in Medellin for only a couple of nights with some friends I stumbled across Miiroku online thanks to trip advisor, and after reading some excellent reviews decided to see if it was worth the hype. A big food lover and hospitality worker myself I...could not find a fault. We got there at 10 pm and the chef, Juan, was more than accomodating and hospitable despite being close to closing up shop. Not speaking much Spanish he was happy to welcome us into his establishment, translate and recommend from the menu and take our drink aswell as food orders. Sitting in a rustic kind of ambience my friend and I ordered the pork blue and my other friends ordered the candy pollo. Soon enough a fantastic aroma was emanating from the kitchen and wanting to watch the man at work I spoke briefly to the head chef/owner Juan while he whipped up his masterpiece. Soon enough the food was ready and brought out and was everything I was hoping for! Offering us coffee we also tried the Oreo cheesecake which was unreal! If your after incredible food made with expertise aswell as some real passion, some grade a service and an awesome ambience hit up Miiroku for dinner. 11/10!More

My boyfriend and I spent a month living in the Estadio neighborhood while on a working holiday in Colombia. We struggled to find quality food in the area (it's mostly Colombian style fast food), until we found Miroku! Miroku serves high-quality, filling & satisfying meals...at shockingly economical prices. Though very meat-centric (like most meals in Colombia), nearly all main courses also include salad and pasta–with your choice of sauce-try the pesto or spicy red pepper!. The filet mignon and pork bleu are great as are the fish dishes and the burgers looked amazing. The restaurant features good beer (3 cordilleras) and wine and nice fresh juices. Dessert, (when available) is also excellent. A block away from the Floresta metro stop, Miroku is worth a visit, wherever you're staying within the city...More

After we saw the picture we were expecting good food for normal prices. But not in this restaurant! The food was not good, the food was excellent and the price was really a barging! On our trip around South America this restaurant had by far...the best price value. It is a little outside, just get a taxi and go there u will not regret it, no matter if u go for lunch menu or dinner.More

The restaurant buzzed with excited energy and was comfortably full with seemingly satisfied patrons. The wait staff will treat you like family. Juan, the owner is very friendly. We spent some time chatting and getting to know his passion for food and you can definitely...taste it in his dishes. His restaurant is defiantly a top chose in Medellin. For my main course, I decided to go with Pork Blue filled with crimini and zucchini with a glazed maple syrup. The flavor of the syrup balanced very well with the pork. My wife ordered spaghetti alla carbonara, the pasta was perfectly cooked. We have also been here for their lunch specials. You can not go wrong with any choose. Without a doubt, we will continue to visit this location.More
