Location and contact

Inviting you to Malevo restaurant is not just an invitation. It means invite you to our home which is far away from Argentina. Each dish and every song played makes me remind me about my grandmother 's cooking, my family's recipes, the mud oven and its secrets. Vanished into the time, the barbecue and its folklore, The porteña diner and the flavor of our history. We are willing to share with you all of these features and additionally, a combination of sorrow and happiness present in the fire which lights our hearts and open our doors.

I went with 2 friends and we each ordered from the 3-course menu which was about 70,000 COP (~$22 USD). There are multiple options and you can pick 1 from each. For appetizers we had salmon ceviche, beef empanada, and some sort of quiche. The...More

We made the mistake of selecting the set menu. Each individual item added up to a total less than the $70,000 peso set menu price. On top of this, the bill included a compulsory 8% tip - taking advantage of gringos. Would not recommend...

As a "Paisa" Meat Lover, I can defenitly say that this is a normal meat restaurant made for tourists. The food is ok, but kind of expensive for the quality. They are good at marketing it as a meat restaurant with the argentinian waiters ,...More

We didn't have time to go back to our hotel before coming to Malevo and therefore looked a bit tired. Nevertheless, the welcome and service was very warm and friendly. Our steaks were excellent and we enjoyed the cosy yet elegant atmosphere. Recommendable

Very poor experience here this evening. Walked into a nice little restaurant hut the music from the live duet was ridiculously loud and uncomfortable, even by South American standards (It is worth noting that another couple walked out before they even ordered due to the...More

I think we were lucky, as out first choice for Argentinian Steak was closed. So, we found this place and off we went. Great appetizers, great steaks. We had an English speaking waiter as well. All great. BTW, we sat outside and it is a...More

Great service and lovely food. We ordered one ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly and had a lovely flavour. My boyfriend had one on the bone which was also very good. Reasonably priced at about $38,000 (~£10) for a good quality and large steak with...More

You can do both. Sometimes maybe you have to wait. I rather would book ahead to be sure that I do get a table. Keep in mind that you get a discount when you pay cash. Cheers Silvio
