Stopped because it was close to where i was staying. Now i see it as a top 20 in Medellin. It was my first meal here and I hope that is not top 20. nothing was bad staff was great even helped with translations. but not blown away.

Nothing out of this world but it was good and inexpensive and lots of food. Mostly Americans eating there which was a drag but not surprised considering its ranking on TA.

I had a typical Colombian soup here, made of chicken, yuca, corn and some ingredients I couldn't recognize. This comes together with avocado, rice and believe it or not a banana! I didn't enjoyed it, to heavy and not enough taste. This place would be excellent for you in case you do like Colombian food :)

We had the Mondongo soup and grilled beef plate. The portions are generous and included many sides so we shared (two adults). The food was delicious. Service was good and prompt. Not slow at all. Prices were very reasonable. We would return to this restaurant (and we did the following night)!

I learned about this franchise years ago in Miami but since I'm not a fan of "mondongo" (tripe) I never gave it a chance and it wasn't until my first visit to Medellin that I realized that the original restaurant was from here. On my fourth visit to Medellin, some friends wanted to try it out so we went on... More

My friend, Cody, and I were exploring some of the restaurants/bars near Lleras Parque. There are vendors that hang out in the park with an assortment of goods. While considering souvenirs we befriended one of the guys. We told him we were looking for pizza and he named off a few places that were nearby but didn't seem very enthusiastic... More

Everything in that place is HUGE. Eggs, beans, rice, bananas, limonade, meat, chicken... if you want to have an awesome lunch, go to this place. Staff is also super friendly and willing to help you and suggest you the best thing to eat. The only I do not like about this restaurant: quite nosy, too much people every time...you can... More

Mondongos is an institution. They have a limited selection of Colombian specialties, including the famous Bandeja Paisa (served with all the fixings) and the Mondongo that gave them their name. The Mondongo is a delicious tripes soup, served with rice, avocado, banana, and a few other things. Don't expect a cozy atmosphere, but the food is totally worth it.

The open air seating was nice and the location was great. However, the service was not very friendly or attentive. The food was plain and did not justify the cost. While not expensive, it was more expensive than it should have been for what we received.

We ate here based on a tour guides recommendation. The food was plentiful but honestly lacked any kind of great flavor. I understand that a lot of Colombian cuisine is not spicy or heavily flavored but this seemed a little extra bland. The location is nice and the prices were ok. If you are dying to try some local dishes... More
