I had problems with the menu as they don't serve a big variety, purely Colombian food of meat; bacon. But the waiters been very kind to get me some baked potatoes because I can't eat meat & bacon. Worth a visit

If you want a great Mondongo, this is the place to visit. Mondongo is a great colombian soup. They serve it with avocado, banana and rice. They have other dishes available, but if you are going to Mondogos, have a mondongo. Their service is great too.

It's seems a modern restaurant (actually it is) but you can choose within some very typical dishes (el mondogo or la bandeja paisa). For just 25/30 kCOP you will receive enough for two people! Very recommended!

They only have a few options, but these are the most famous in Colombia. Ajiaco, Bandeja Paisa and Mondongo. Quick service, you have to get before 12.30pm if you don't want to wait. Not crowded at night, but such big plates will knock you down at that hour.

This was our first stop in Medellin. Wow, what a disappointment. The service was beyond poor, food was bland, menu limited, overpriced and we felt deceived. The service was similar to others because when we were leaving, someone else was complaining about the forced upon tip that was charged on your bill. You have been warned about this overhyped place.... More

Mondongos has an apparently well deserved reputation for typical Colombian cuisine and we enjoyed our orders of steak and the namesake Sopa Mondogo. Fresh side dishes with flavorful banana, avocado, rice and beans made for tasty and filling time. We might have stayed longer but wanted the long line of patrons to get their opportunity for a satisfying lunch.

Expect a small army of uniformed waiters serving hefty platters of bland Colombian comfort food. The space is clean & airy, so if you are dying to try some tripe in a non-threatening atmosphere, this is your chance. But--other than the oversized portions--I fail to see the appeal of Mondongos.

Best soup so far. The mondogos soup is a curry like, spicy dish with meat and vegetables. Each region has their type, and Mondogos sets the bar. Go for lunch. Crowds are there for good reason.
