Great place for lunch! Various options for an affordable price. We ordered 2 fruit shakes with coconut milk, Betty's salad and a sandwich for 40kCOP. Everything was delicious and prepared very fast, considering a number of people waiting. Sometimes you should wait a bit, because there are many people. You can even see how the guys cook :) The Cafe is environmental cautious, i.e. cutlery, cups, bowls, napkins are made of organic products.

Betty's Bowl is a fantastic little cafe in El Poblado which serves salads, smoothie bowls, toast, and coffee/smoothies. They definitely make an effort to make the dishes look pretty with nice little touches like flowers. It tastes as good as it looks, and it is an ideal place to go for a light to medium healthy morning meal. They are reasonably priced, and the atmosphere there is quite positive and friendly. The owner, who is the granddaughter of Betty, is beautiful, speaks fantastic English, and has a warm and helpful personality.
Emelia the little dog constantly lays about here and is quite lazy and adorable. Even if I didn't like the food I'd come back to check up on her. I definitely recommend this place!

Breakfast at Betty’s bowls was delicious, fresh and the atmosphere was nice. We had to wait quite long for the food and the fruit bowl was too cold/ ice for our taste. But we would always come back during a stay in Medellin.

We came here twice during our stay in Medellin due to the positive feedback online and on instagram. Both times we visited (A Saturday and Sunday) the place was slammed but the staff simply could not keep up. On Saturday I was served my food 20 minutes before my partner, and on Sunday we waited 50 minutes for our food, and again, my food came way before my partners. We wouldn’t come back here again due to the service.

I spent a month working Medellin from the Selina coworking space. A crazy month of long work hours, short chances for breaks and many headaches. Behold, the perfect spot within a 30 second walk of where I was : Betty's Bowls. They kept me fed and happy almost daily for lunch when I barely had time to step outside to get fresh air, let alone food.
This place is amazing. Period. Their smoothie bowls are HUGE and filling and the fruit changes each day to something tasty. Not feeling like a smoothie bowl? Get their toast. Omg their toast. I lived off their Avocado toast and discovered their banana/peanut butter toast too late in the game. They say that when a girl wiggles when she eats, it's the attitude leaving her body. Let me tell you, I was wiggling something fierce and kept swearing about how good it was.
Do yourself a favor and go get one of their fresh juices or smoothies. I didn't try the salads but folks would rave about it. Oh, didn't you hear? They are also eco-friendly and everything is ready to be composted or recycled. Go pet Emilia, their cute pug mascot, while you are it.
I'm going to miss Betty's when I leave. I have their stickers on my laptop and too many receipts stuffed in my wallet from there. Solid food that is delicious, healthy and affordable.
Thanks guys for making me feel like home for a month and making sure I didn't stave <3

I went to Betty's because it was next to my hostel. Coffee (European standard) is really good! I also loved the fresh bread with avocado and the smoothies/shakes were really good too, but unfortunately the fruit was still a bit frozen. Also you need to have time because it takes at least 15-20 minutes until you get served.

At this quarantine, it's hard to find a good healthy meal.
I asked for a Acai bowl delivered to Caldas, Antioquia (like 20 - 30 minutes from MedellĂn), they just said yes and delivered in perfect conditions.

Betty’s Bowls is a small place with a kind and lovely attention and extraordinary sweet and salty bowls and toasts. The presentation of the food is beautiful and of such color and variety also the ingredients are so fresh.
You must try at least once this healthy food in Medellin.

The food in this place is more than delicious and also healthy. With the delivery it went perfectly, I ordered the day before because it was a surprise for one of my friends birthday. I asked them to deliver the food as early as possible and at 8:30am my friend already was enjoying it and she really like the flavors and size

Betty’s Bowls does not disappoint. You will love it! The avocado toast and the Acai bowls with fresh local fruit is delicious. Also they only use sustainable products. No plastic! Please support this wonderful place - u will also be helping the environment!

This is my second time in Medellin. Every single morning I walk down and grab a smoothie or a bowl. This is the best way to start your day and the healthiest. The staff there is amazing they recommend the best options on the menu, and if you are new in town they recommend things to do around the city. Haven't had a bad experience since I've been going and the fruit is always fresh and the quality is simply amazing. Wish there was a place like this in America where the food quality could be this amazing for a reasonable price! Will continue to make this my daily routine every time I'm here and I suggest you do the same.

Wow... what a great spot. Their food is absolutely amazing so we had to go twice in three days and tell our friends living locally about it. Along with the great food, the three sisters who set it up are super lovely and I spent a bit of time speaking to Maria who is just awesome, to say the least! Friendly, fun, and great food... The food was nice but pricey and not satisfying. The cofe was really bad, the waiter told us they choose this cofe from a farm nearby and seems really upset by our commitment. Ohenestly if you're going to serve turists don't serve cofe with such a distinct taste and get all worked up because someone wouldn't like it...

We have been staying at Yolo Hostel for a few days and have eaten at Betty’s Bowls everyday. I have tried a breakfast bowl - fresh and yummy and I have just finished a perfect salad with feta and avocado. I have been sick and the hot orange and honey drink was very soothing. Thank you everyone!
