This was without a doubt our favorite restaurant in Medellin! It's sister restaurant in Miami was known to my girlfriend to be top notch so made an obvious choice for dinner. We did the full tasting menu (13 "experiences"? I don't recall the full number, with the full wine pairing also. Let me start by saying that when this showed... More

While "experience" is overused to describe restaurants, this one definitely qualifies. All of us enjoyed every element and the food was way above the many restaurants I visited. I highly recommend it to anyone, probably great for couples looking for a memorable night. They also have an outfit in Bogota and Miami. The one in the US is much more... More

My husband and I went to El Cielo in Medellin for my birthday last weekend. We opted for the "Journey Menu" which cost about $42 USD per person (not including beverages). It was a 15 course dining experiences that exhilarated the senses. Every "moment" (the call the courses moments because some do not involve food/eating) was meticulously planned and perfectly... This was the option we chose. Atmosphere was contemporary. Food as well. It is more than about the food. It is an experience. Treated a bit like a spa guest. Upscale. Expensive, but not for what you get. They have 3 locations. 1 is in Miami. Price almost twice what we paid.

This is the closest restaurant to Michelin standard in Europe. Food, service and price. It is expensive (for South America), but a very good experience through all your senses.

We had the 13 courses with wine pairing, expensive but worth every penny. It's like travelling through Colombia by food instead of by transports. It's a one in a lifetime experience that everyone in Medellin or in Bogota should try at least once. Loved the steak and fish, and the chicha soup and the "experience" dishes were also fantastic. Thank... More

We had the 13-course experience menu...food was excellent. We kept taking pictures of each course because of the unique presentation. Definitely plan to spend a few hours if you try the special menu, but it is definitely worth it as it is one of the best meals I've had in a long time.

What makes this places special is that they take you an a trip through Colombia using their food. This experience makes it a nice evening out. The food is tasty, well presented and at a level that is hard to find in Medellin. However, it is expensive.

Food presentation: incredible. Wow factor surprises: definitely. Prompt and courteous service: yes! Only reason this wasn't perfect was that they lost our reservation and seemed mildly annoyed we were there, despite having several empty tables. (we had booked 3 days in advance.) Still, a must-do if you're in Medellin.
