Stopped in for lunch. The place has a decent atmosphere but nothing special (the bathrooms were not clean). Service was so-so (poor by Cartagena's high standards as we waited longer for our meal than anywhere else). Had the seafood skewer and a lujosa del mar...which came out as a mix of ceviches on different shells. At around 70K, it was quite expensive and it did not feature a very large amount of seafood. Fancier restaurants with nicer atmospheres in Cartagena were serving the equivalent trios of ceviche for 50K and were better. For the price and quality, there are far better choices nearby.More

I was on El Kilo December 31st at night with my wife and son. The place was very nice, great atmosphere, good staff. But I was not happy with our food. We ordered three dishes and I think the only one approved was my son's...fried "fish and chips". I ordered a rice with crabs and it was a very small portion with just the taste of crab, my wife ordered some pasta with seafood and although the sauce was rich, the pasta was still hard. And what disappointed me most was not being able to order sea fish, because the fish they offered was tilapia. Really? Tilapia was the catch of the day? . Besides, at the entrance of the restaurant they put seafood on ice in the window but then offer you the dishes with farmed fish.More

We could recommend this place. We liked everything we ordered, including nice and affordable sauvignon blanc. Seafood stew and something from sharing menu for two was very good. The pricing was reasonable. We would come again.

Tasty food, friendly service and pricing is correct. We had some starters, seafood mix grill. It has a modern design and nice ambiance. Gets busy dinner time, better to reserve.

We had shrimp cornbread to start followed by a shared seafood grill. There was nothing wrong with it at all but I have eaten better.

The food at this restaurant was amazing. If we were staying longer we would be back for sure. Pity we found it on our last night. Highly recommended. Great value too!

We were recommended to this restaurant during lunch. They offer an English menu, which made it easier for us to order. All of the food was delicious. Would definitely stop here for dinner again.

In a few words....extremely small portions served as starters at ridiculously expensive prices. The entire meal at 280,000 COP for two was overpriced, and we left hungry. The cazuela de mariscos was a pretty tasty dish and it is recommended. But overall, meh, too many...better choices.More
