This place came recommended so wanted to pop in for lunch, fish was tasty and delicious and well priced

Possibly the first time a guide book recommendation has lived up to the hype. We ate here three times and enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere every time. The portions are huge and such good value. If you're hungry, definitely go for the menu del...dia: a huge bowl of soup and an even bigger main (meat / fish, rice, fries, salad and plantains). The juices and lemonades are also great (and massive!). On top of all that the service is super fast and the waitresses are a great laugh.More

Colombian food at higher level with menu that include all type of dishes from , meat chichen and fish. All courses are abundant and indluded with excellent contours of fresh vegetables and rice. Big portions and big price!! A mandatory stopover for hungry travellers!

This place is ideal for authentic Colombian food and experience. Locals flock here and it is clearly for the dishes packed with flavor. The arroz con pollo is TO DIE FOR. Very affordable and huge portions. You will need to know Spanish to get by,...but that makes the experience even better.More

This is the best place in Getsemani to get really good typical local food. Most of the people eating here are locals as well. The service was good and fast, the prices are excellent, and the portions just right. The decor is super fun and...funky.More

We walked by one evening and came back every evening of our stay. It’s full of locals, few to no tourists, food is great and portions are massive. The two mamas are two lovely people and we hope to come back one day! Skip the...touristy places and eat one of those: all fish, tipico montanero and frijoles!More

This small local cantina offers plenty local dishes of good quality for good value. We had chicken soup- that contained parts of the whole chicken - but was very tasty. So was the grilled chicken and the Bandeja Paisa.

I highly recommend stopping by and eating here if you want to eat traditional Colombian cuisine. They offer very generous portions, and their pescado frito (fried fish) is an excellent dish to try. The staff are incredibly friendly, but do not speak English. They do...have an English menu though (just flip the menu over to the back side). They are open early so you can eat breakfast here also, but it is a different menu. Everything on the menu is amazing and reasonably priced. You can definitely order the sancocho de pescado and share with another person (soup, fish, rice, and more). I would definitely eat breakfast or lunch here.More

Went to this place to taste the Sancocho de pescado. The place was packed with mostly locals and we were seated pretty fast but with another person on our table. Apparently this is how they do things. The food was good and was very cheap....I had fried fish with rice and beans, fish soup and soda for about US$4. It was nice experience to be able to eat where the locals eat.More

Had the best meal during stay in Cartagena here at Coroncoro. Had the fried fish and it was plentiful and fresh. Also ordered natural juices and they were big and cold to confront the heat. This place is not fancy, it’s warm, and it’s very...inexpensive. $6usd fried fish plate. If you’re looking for local cuisine and down to earth Cartagena people... you found it.More
