This restaurant was DELICIOUS. Our tour guide recommended it when we asked where we could get great Colombian food/ where the locals eat. If you’re into eating food in a fancy restaurant and posting for Instagram, this isn’t the place for you. It’s a no frills restaurant with damn good food. I had the seafood rice and my husband had the pork loin which came with a side of soup with a plaintain. I also had some lulo and passion fruit juice which was Sooo good. We left very satisfied and the prices are so reasonable. Highly recommend! (Pesos only, no card.)

Great food, great value, great service!

Possibly the first time a guide book recommendation has lived up to the hype. We ate here three times and enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere every time. The portions are huge and such good value. If you're hungry, definitely go for the menu del dia: a huge bowl of soup and an even bigger main (meat / fish, rice, fries, salad and plantains). The juices and lemonades are also great (and massive!). On top of all that the service is super fast and the waitresses are a great laugh.

Colombian food at higher level with menu that include all type of dishes from , meat chichen and fish. All courses are abundant and indluded with excellent contours of fresh vegetables and rice. Big portions and big price!! A mandatory stopover for hungry travellers!

a warm and welcoming place for good food

My partner and I ate dinner here twice, and thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the warm welcome. My partner enjoyed it so much that he went back for breakfast one morning when I was at a meeting. The food is abundant, good, and expensive, and we easily understood why cartageneros fill the place. Be sure to meet Miguelina, whose personality and love of people fill the place with joy.

We actually went to eat here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eat everything and experience everything. cheap prices, good and plentiful food. The pleasure of sitting at the table with the locals, but also with some tourists. Don't miss the juices and batides. and the thrill of being able to eat a real Colombian breakfast (and not the one usually offered for gringos). a historic address, but absolutely not overrated

One of the last restaurants for local residents

We went there for lunch. The service is fast and attentive. The dishes are simple and plentiful, we had the fish menu of the day, it was delicious. No complicated decoration or pretentious recipe. This restaurant seems to be one of the last on the street that is also frequented by local residents.

I went on July 19 at night, for a Recommendation I had seen on youtube, the worse the truth I got a super big disappointment. Since when we arrived we saw the place very sober and unambiguous for the area where it is located. the tables are rather simple, but it is passable, when we sat we felt a smell like trash that had me uncomfortable. we were looking at the letter and saw when a tourist asked for a juice and the lady took the ice with her hand and so put it in the juice. immediately we stood and left without asking. pity because I had been recommended.

Simply excellent. Restaurant frequented by city residents and workers. The food is wonderful. One of the best shrimp rice I've ever eaten. The atmosphere is simple, you share a table with other people (if it's full, it probably will be), which only makes the experience better. I recommend it too much. You can go without fear.

Went with a group of 13 at lunchtime and there were no issues in seating us. Despite the language barrier, the service was extremely friendly and the food was amazing. The fresh juice was also *chefs kiss*

Cheap and good food

We have eaten here on 3 different occasions and we have not had a bad dish yet, it's very busy but the atmosphere and food are excellent, it's also extremely cheap. I have had meat, fish and chicken dishes with soup to start, for me the fish was best but I would happily have the other 2, my partner is vegetarian and they've always made a decent plate of food for her

Authentic Colombian food

This place is ideal for authentic Colombian food and experience. Locals flock here and it is clearly for the dishes packed with flavor. The arroz con pollo is TO DIE FOR. Very affordable and huge portions. You will need to know Spanish to get by, but that makes the experience even better.

Great Place for Typical Local Food in Getsemani

This is the best place in Getsemani to get really good typical local food. Most of the people eating here are locals as well. The service was good and fast, the prices are excellent, and the portions just right. The decor is super fun and funky.
