Hv been wanting to visit the restaurant where Mapo tofu was invented. Wonderful dinner with Mapo tofu n Mapo tofu with fish. Ended with Dan Dan noodle which was exceptional. A treat for Sichuan food lovers

There was a long queue to get in here but the wait was worth it- the food was really good- the local spices certainly added some heat to some of the meals but everything we tried was great

Went there during lunch around 1130am on a weekday, not very crowded but the crowd came around 1pm. Food is generally nice, but don’t expect good restaurant service.
