First tried this in 2005, now still the same good old food, wine and low-key cozy place. Shekou has gone through a lot of changes in the past decade, but Gypsy's will always standout from the rest. Stuffed chicken breasts with baby potato's and greens with a pesto and cream sauce is my fave. Serving is also good for 2.... More

Gypsy's has consistently served very good food for 13+ years in the Shekou area. Returned there after several years away and was thrilled to see it has survived the entrance of newer/glitzier but more erratic places. Gypsy's is "the" place for good food in the Shekou area and should not be missed if you're in the area. It's my No.... More

I am amazed the ratings are lower than expected for this place as it should always be in the top 10 in Shenzhen and for me No 1 in Shekou. While the service is casual and venue relaxed, they still serve up large amazing meals and the best Steaks you will find anywhere. If its near empty, don't worry, head... More

Went for dinner after a suggestion from the hotel and I'm glad I did. Of the 100 of so restaurants in the area this would have to be my pick. The staff were very helpful and it was hard picking something off the menu to have, They have 153 meals on the menu. I decided on the stuffed chicken breasts... More

Their slogan is: We dare to be different and they truly are, such a varied menu made up from many different word wide cuisines plus a wide selection of imported bottled beers. I have eaten here many times during my long stay in Shekou and only had one disappointment during that time so I wasn't put off. It's true that... More

Gypsy's has been in Seaworld a long time and was one to count Von for quality food. Took an business colleague and we both ordered fish, he the unluckily catch of the day and I the sole. Service was proper, as there was a large group and a few smaller tables, but not as busy as years ago. With all... More

Been to Gypsy’s a couple time over the years living here in SZ. They have been there for like forever. We didn’t go there often because the place is sort of “old” and when we did go, nothing stood out about the food- wasn’t good, and also wasn’t bad. Just so-so. Who wants to goto a so-so place and pay... More
