Went here a few times whilst living in Xiamen. Good quality Indian food, prices mid-range. Worth visiting if you don't mind/like Indian food. Service is good, food authentic.

This is hands-down the best Indian restaurant in Xiamen. The portions are genuine, the food is authentic and the staff is friendly. Xiamen is lucky to have Samrat!

Great food, ingredients and presentation. Chef John knows his stuff! Love his Phals. Love his spinach and cheese dish. His new place The Hub has similar food but better beer on tap though.

We quite enjoyed our meal at this restaurant and particularly enjoyed the Rogan Josh although the Palak Paneer not so much. The ambiance was good and it became busier and more vibrant throughout our meal. As we entered we were greeted with a friendly 'hello' by a lady but she then sat behind a laptop on one of the tables... More

3 years later I returned for another dining experience with a local legend, and of course the food and wine selection was fabulous, service is great and welcoming. Will always be my first stop when i am in XMN!

It is a wonderful place and the spot that every Indian traveler frequents after a couple of days in China. Not the best Indian food in the world, but it certainly seems that way when you are in a land where such food is scarce. Enjoyed ourselves there.

This food was amazing. I'm always looking for good Indian food and this place top's the China list for sure. My party (of 8) was starving when we arrived and I'm pretty sure we would've eaten cardboard, but this was SO much better than that. Everything ordered was authentic and delicious. There was a small mix up about naan orders... More

Going to an Indian Restaurant in Xiamen sort of feels like having a Fish and Chips in India - you probably can but why would you? I finally went with some Indian clients who wanted some home cooking and I really enjoyed it. The location is quirky, up some stairs and into a pretty cramped area. This seems to work... More

Delicious food! And decent service. Would definitely go back. I loved the tandoori cauliflower! Great options for vegetarians.
