This was by far our favorite meal during our entire time in Chile. A tiny, local place. We followed a recommendation here and it was the best recommendation, ever. The place is packed with pretty much only locals. The menu is in narrative form and only in Spanish. One waiter speaks English and was able to help us order. But... More

Excellent staff. Very exciting to sit and be in the middle of lively town crowd. Enjoyed their coffee and sandwiches.

We had dinner here. Fantastic sandwiches. Huge! You will only need one between two people. Cakes were amazing. Again they are huge serves do you will only need one between tow people! They are happy for people to share a serve. Well worth a visit!

I specifically went here due to the Trip Advisor reviews and they did not disappoint me at all. It's a very cozy location in a residential neighborhood. Their hours of operation are very generous for lunch and Sunday coffee. The waiter was very helpful in helping me decide a desert selection. They are not English speakers here; but were very... I was absolutely gob smacked by the portion sizes of amazing sandwiches and cake! The coffee was the best in Punta Arenas and the staff are so lovely!

I stopped by for lunch and ordered a coffee and beef sandwich. The coffee presentational was very nice, served with a chocolate cookie. The coffee taste was not good though. The beef sandwich was huge. I enjoyed the taste of it and tried not to think about what it was doing to my arteries. A cafe in this price range... More

This place is amazing! we went to buy a chicken, avocado, tomato and mayo sandwich with handmade bread (Pan amasado) and they where HUGE! One of those sandwiches would be enough for 2 people! Because we were hungry we though why not pay for a dessert, so we decided to get brownies and they were also amazingly huge! I do... More

We visited several times, every time we felt like we deserved to spoil our self. Great selection of cakes and sandwiches, the "once menu" is more like to be shared among two persons ... we did the beginner mistakes of asking for one each, and couldn't finish it... the staff kindly wrap it up for us to take home, and... This lovely place is off of the main busy roads. You will have fantastic food with a quiet, family atmosphere in a safe neighborhood. They portions are massive and two people can easily share one sandwich. Leave room for dessert because the cakes are the reason to go!

Cafe Immigrant was founded as a project of family business in July 2005 month, starting our activities with the recovery of an old house located in the heart of the Croatian district of the city of Punta Arenas, with an architectural style of the early XX century. In this construction for many years they lived our nonos who immigrated from the island of Brac, in the Dalmatian region of Croatia today. In every corner of our Cafe has been placed around the soul to preserve the lifestyle of the time, those who came from afar to always fundacionar Southern Patagonia, Chile.
