About
Gelato Lab is a unique new addition to the bustling center of Siem Reap. Located close to Old Market and Pub Street, we offer a refreshing break from the busy streets. Our traditional homemade gelato is made from fresh whole milk, imported from Thailand and slow-churned to perfection. Our sorbet is created with natural cane sugar and never contains preservatives or additives. We have both an in-house and a premium blend of coffee, all natural and imported from Thailand and Sumatra. Our famous chocolate gelato contains 70% dark Venezuelan chocolate for the richest flavor. And for anyone seeking a sweet kick to start the party, try our coffee cocktails. We proudly use the highest quality machinery available to create the best coffee and gelato in Siem Reap. All of our ingredients are natural, organic, and fresh.

I'm so fussy about sorbets as outside of Italy most are sickly sweet . I was allowed to taste first and proceeded to order a delicious passion fruit sorbet . The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that they had run out of cones .

Ummm….wow! We had a small cup, but I wish we would have ordered about 4 pints of Stracciatella gelato. It was incredible. We took it with us and walked around Pub Street. It was about a billion degrees out, but this gelato did not have a chance to melt.

Not gonna lie, I had three scoops of ice cream and could have easily eaten a second large portion, it was so good. Of the three sorts I had (passion fruit, caramelized coffee & caramelized salted butter), I liked the passion fruit sorbet best. Definitely a place I can recommend.

We came here after lunch one day while exploring the alleys in Siem Reap and we were pleasently surprised by how good the gelato was. While not the best we have ever had, it was very good.
My wife had a chocolate coffee flavor (there are multiple options like this) and I had the coconut. We enjoyed them and they really hit the spot on a warm day.
My only gripe is that there are not more non coffee flavors, also the menu is a little confusing because they want to explain more details about the flavors, so take an extra second to make sure you get the right thing.

As Italians, we often defy ourselves about artisanal ice creamers around Italy, by comparing them and tasting different flavours. We simply don't hope to find the same taste in the world, and we are resigned. Yet, in Siem Reap, after dinner, we found this place and the taste was so gorgeous that we found ourselves returning every evening we spent in Siem reap (3). I also looked for a similar place in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville, but I couldn't find anymore the same quality. The amazing, unexpected, quality here is the at the same level as some Sicilian ice creams we tried. Both sorbettos and classical tastes (try the 80% dark chocolate..). After having just visited Cambodia, I put only the best reviews of my trip (3: best hotel, best restaurant, best other: this is the best other! I mean best in Cambodia). Great.

I can’t have dairy so I was really happy to find a chocolate sorbet rather than just fruit options. The flavour was so intense and delicious, a real treat on a warm evening.
Reasonable pricing too - $1.50 for a scoop, $2.50 for 2 scoops and $3.25 for 3.

Delicious. We had the coffee caramel gelato (my favorite), and a large tiramisu/chocolate with pepper (I thought it was filled with pepper and my husband liked it but wanted even more pepper - he clearly loves pepper!). Also got an iced coffee which was rich and totally hit the spot. For 2 ice creams and a coffee it was $6.50

I usually do not eat ice cream on my trips, but i made it a daily exception. As I attended a conference we made it even with some 20 people while it was raining cats and dogs and nobody regretted to walk a minute through the rain. Great flavours, freshly made with local ingredients. My favorite was Caramel, but they have vegan options, too.

Hidden in a small street,go and sample the superb flavours of this freshly made Ice cream parlour.
The chocolate sorbet is very original: like tasting cold truffles!
The passion fruit sorbet was also my favourite.
You can sit quietly to savour your ice cream in the cool entrance, there's also a toilet upstairs and all the staff is friendly.

We loved the gelato so much we returned a few times during our stay in Siem Reap. The space is very cool and we enjoyed sitting upstairs by the huge windows. My daughter loved the mango and strawberry, while I got the chocolate and coffee. All were so creamy and delicious. Another patron told me to try the coffee gelato as it was the best he'd ever had and I'm glad I took his advice. The coffee flavor was bold and really well done. Overall a great little spot. Cheers!

Tucked away just behind Pub Street this is an amazing little cafe serving the BEST ice creams ever. The hardest decision is choosing which to go for but at the very fair prices why not go for 2 or even 3 options.
If you like tart flavours then the Lime and Mint has to be tried...sensational!

After great dinners at the nearby Khmer Kitchen, we stopped nightly for dessert at this outstanding gelato "lab." (Lab?). What really stood out was the purity of the ingredients. One could taste real chocolate, coffee, mango, and coconut in each bite. One of the best ice cream (am I allowed to call it that?) places in the world.
