Experiencing the tasting menu at this restaurant is my highest recommendation and top tip following a month long visit to SE Asia.
We are fortunate to have eaten some excellent meals on five continents but this restaurant served us one of top five meals of all time.
The restaurant is staffed throughout by females and, without wishing to sound sexist, I truly believe you can taste and experience their delicate and feminine touch throughout.
My wife and I were privileged to enjoy their seven course, regularly changing, tasting menu and were rewarded with some exceptional, exquisite tastes. Presentation and service were exemplary too.
Combined with a four glass classic wine pairing for me and a four cup tea tasting for my wife, the cost isn't cheap in Siem Reap terms but at $36 per person for food, $29 for four glass of paired wine or $15 for four deliciously flavoured teas, it's incredible value for money given the quality of food, presentation and service on offer.
In addition we were given complementary amuse bouche to start, had opportunity to thank one of the chefs direct and were given a leaving gift of their exquisitely presented, complementary macaroons.
An exceptional experience that I would repeat in a heartbeat, I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly.

Visited on my birthday a a treat and what a treat. Whilst fairly expensive for Siem Reap it was cheap compared to similar quality meals eaten elsewhere. And certainly excellent value for money. A set 7 course meal (8 if u include 2 mains) was beautifully presented and served by enthusiatic and professional staff. And the food was delicious! Nice touch at the end was a menu/restaurant story signed by the owners/chefs and a free box of home made macaroons... and the Macaroon birthday cake was a welcome surprise. Would highly recomnend and hope to be back soon. Thanks

Our dinner at the lovely Embassy Restaurant was absolutely amazing! Their attention to detail throughout the evening made for a very memorable evening. The February menu was so well planned and each course was absolutely delicious and artfully plated. The Premium Wine pairing was well curated as well as the tea selections. And, at the end of our multi course prix fixe dinner we were sent home with the printing of the evening meal including our beverage pairings and a beautifully packaged box of housemade macarons. Saum Arkoun!

We visited in January 2020 after reading a lot of positive feedback online and it did not disappoint. The Set Menu was just the right amount of food and had an interesting range of ingredients. Favourite dishes included the Khmer Street Finger Food and Charcoal Grilled Eggplant with Beef. Service was friendly, quick and topped off with a takeaway gift of locally flavoured macaroons. Overall the food was excellent and represented good value for money despite being at the more expensive end of the restaurants we visited in and around Siem Reap. Well worth a visit!

Brilliant service and exceptional food in a stunning setting. We dined here for NYE 2019, we ordered the base wine tasting option to go with the degustation menu. From the moment we arrived, the ambience and the service was special. The room decor and spacing between tables is just spot on. The service was something you just don’t encounter that often. The Khmer ladies were engaging, attentive, offered us timed pauses for our dishes if we wished. Then the food came out and we all just wanted to grab our phones to take photos. Beautiful. Then we tasted. I can’t remember how many times I just paused, trying to find the words to describe what I had just eaten. The flavours were sometimes subtle, sometimes bold but always coming together in your mouth to create an amazing experience. The wine matching was complimentary to the meal and I enjoyed the 4 glasses. I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough. The chef came out after and she was humble and asked genuinely for our feedback. I just blurted out keep it coming. How do you provide feedback on the best meal and meal experience I have had. 10 stars.

We enjoyed a magnificent tasting menu, where each and every dish was spectacularly presented and tasted uniquely special. The service was impeccable too. The set price for this menu was reasonable, considering the large number of courses.
Advance reservation is recommended, since this restaurant appears to be constantly well supported.

This was simply the finest meal we had in all of Indochina. It's a set tasting menu for the ridiculous low price of US$36 - would be 3 times that at home. Classic Khmer dishes, with a creative twist. And absolutely the most attentive service ever. The server explains every dish in detail and the food is just amazing. Truly unique experience, and unexpected in Siem Reap. If Michelin ranked restaurants in Cambodia (they don't yet), this place was get 2 stars.

Each one of the 7 course tasting men was a joy.beautifully curated menu ang the flavours and tastes were to die for.

The design at Embassy is set up with modern furniture and orange color. The gorgeous and beautiful decorations were designed by a French interior designer. We're so happy you liked it!

Enjoyed dinner here one evening. We really should have done some more research before booking this fine dining restaurant. The food was full of flavour and superbly presented although our duck was under-cooked. Service was good but at times haphazard with wait staff getting a little confused about who was doing what. The menu was a tasting menu or in more humble circles could be described as a set menu with no Ă la carte menu available. In practice this meant that we either had to opt to eat what was on offer- we opted out of two courses. Hence the need for more research before booking.

We do clearly state on all our booking sites that we serve only seasonal Khmer set menu. Our Khmer Gastronomy menu changes every month in order to stay in season.

This dinner was a special birthday treat on our first evening in Siem Reap, and chosen because of the trip advisor reviews. By Cambodian standards it is very expensive. The service was very good, and the food (set menu) was pretty on the plate. However the flavours were bland, and we were somewhat disappointed. We had had a much More flavorful lunch at a street cafe for just a couple of dollars. We were given some macaroons to take home and they were very nice. Overall , I think I would not recommend.

The restaurant has great atmosphere paired with good fusion food. The taste menu is very creative and service is of very high standard. The waitresses highly attentive and prepare to pace according to your wish. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wishes to spend an evening of fine dining experience in Siem Reap. Price is good considering what you get.

All female staff ( not that that was a factor to our booking)
Restaurant is beautiful.
It was mostly couples or families with teenage children.
Food is absolutely amazing.Service 10/10
Attentive without being " in your face"
one of the chefs came out to speak to the diners and gave us complimentary macarons.
I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.
The food is of the highest standard.

The eight-course menu is new in January, every dish is nicely presented. The portions are just perfect so that we could enjoy the taste of every dish without wasting any food. The services are excellent, all servers are attentive to needs of diners at all times. The ambiance is relaxed and cozy. The chef came to each table and greeted diner at the end of dinner.

Before my trip, I had thoroughly researched all the eating options in Siem Reap. Despite having eaten at all talked about restaurants, the award-winning ones, the ones with the most media attention, I thought I was going to leave Siem Reap having eaten only mediocre food. Until I ate here. Although modern in technique and presentation, this is the most Cambodian meal I had in my six days in town. It tasted like all the foods I ate growing up, but elevated. The chef’s mastery of the cuisine almost brought me to tears. When the chef came out at the end, she was so sincere and happy that we were happy—a stark contrast from another star chef in town who seemed just to be making his rounds after an unbalanced tasting menu.
If there’s any critique of this place, it’s that the service is slightly different than a western tasting menu. Here the server bringing you the food may not be the server explaining the food. It didn’t bother me much but I know it bothered another table dining that evening.
I absolutely loved this place and have recommended it to everyone I know who plan on visiting Siem Reap. And I will be coming back the next time in town. That being said, it’s not for everyone. It’s the only place we ate that didn’t hold back on flavor. To those who come to Cambodia saying things like, “this would be good with less flavor” or “I don’t like fish” (diners at adjacent tables): stay home and don’t ruin it for the rest of us. Cambodia is place of fish and flavor, and Embassy is the one place that hasn’t lessened themselves to the demands of the uncultured.
