At Mahob, the whole package is just right: you sit in a very cosy little garden and are given a very friendly welcome. The food covers the whole spectrum of Khmer classics, we found the mango sala and the beef in neem leaf particularly tasty. It may be that you can eat cheaper in Siem Reap, but why should you miss out on such a wonderful experience because of a few euros difference?

Lovely food - we had the frogs legs for entree, chicken curry and duck was the highlight. The beef with red ants is worth a try and the Out of Pot soup was pretty good. It is a bit pricey compared to some other good Cambodian restaurant - we paid around $US12 for a main with drinks around $US3-5. Definitely worth going for great decor and the food. There's a 10% mandatory service fee on top of the bill.

Great cool spot. We were brought here by our tour guide and had the Taste of Khmer menu that was altered to accommodate me being a non meat eater and needing gluten free. Nothing was a problem. Lovely service and warm welcome from Evan, the manager

We had a wonderful meal of Khmer cuisine served by friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Despite other much larger groups being here at the same time, our service was timely and the food was fresh and hot. I highly recommend this spot in Siam Reap.

Everything we ordered was excellent! We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated immediately at a lovely outdoor table. The staff was extraordinarily friendly. We ordered Sour Soup with Beef and Green Beans, Chicken over Eggplant, and Fish Amok. Each one was richly flavored and cooked perfectly. (Tip: the soup is enough for four people!). The setting is beautiful. Dinner with drinks and 10% required surcharge was $36 USD--very fair for the quality!

You cannot miss this culinary gem in Siem Reap! The food is amazing – the frog legs, fish ceviche, beef with red ants, and the Wagyu Ribeye cooked on a sizzling hot stone were all bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. Each dish was a true masterpiece. What made our experience unforgettable, was the incredible hospitality of Evan, the head of experiences, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His passion for the restaurant and its food was evident in every detail. A must-visit for anyone in Siem Reap!

3rd evening at Mahop and always a good impression. The place was recommended to us by a neighbor on the plane and really thank you very much. We like to eat well and regularly use the recommendations of the Michelin guide which, strangely, does not cover Cambodia. Well, otherwise, this place would at least deserve a gourmet bib. The plates are delicious, Cambodian inspired but gourmet version, all at a contained price. The team is lovely and the setting pleasant. Frankly, go ahead with your eyes closed, you won't be disappointed.

We selected Mahob Cuisine for dinner because of its reviews and proximity to the Sofitel (within walking distance) and were not disappointed. Although we didn't have reservations, we were immediately seated. The open-air indoor space looked inviting but we chose to be seated in the garden area in the front, an even better experience.
The menu was extensive with English translations. We started with fresh spring rolls ($6.25) which proved to be eight large segments of delicious spring rolls, served with a peanut sauce--an outstanding start. I thought my pork with eggplant was very good ($7.50), and my partner liked his beef with baby broccoli ($7.00). With two large bottles of water and three Angkor beers, the total was only $31.25.
Service was gracious and attentive from start to finish. The vibe is that of an upscale restaurant catering to tourists; English was the dominant but not only language spoken by the guests. Were I to return to Siem Reap, I'd unquestionably choose to return to Mahob Cuisine.

As per the title. The restaurant was within walking distance of my hotel. I was recommended a dish by our front desk reception and it was so delicious. Try the wok-fried fish in tamarind sauce. You're welcome. The atmosphere was really nice. Modern restaurant, family friendly. Staff were very helpful, extremely attentive and food arrived pretty quickly after ordering. No complaints here - would definitely go again! If you are after traditional cambodian and great tasting food at average prices then look no further. This is the restaurant for you!

Very nice ‘gourmet’ Kmer cuisine in a relaxed and romantic setting. We had pumpkin curry and a tofu dish both of which were excellent. They were served with red rice which was delicious as well. The only negative was that the portions are quite small but after eating ‘street food’ for two weeks (which was always very good) it was nice to have a relaxed high quality meal.

We spent two weeks in Siem Reap and we dined at Mahob seven times. Each occasion was memorable and lovely. The welcome was warm and friendly, the setting delightful and the service impeccable. We tried many dishes on the menu and always found something delicious with subtle flavours. It was the perfect introduction to Khmer cuisine. On our last evening Linda kindly gifted us a dessert each. So we have very happy memories of this lovely restaurant and thoroughly recommend it.

Although we have had a fantastic holiday in Siem Reap we have found the food mediocre and pandering to tourists palates. NOT HERE! Delicious food (excellent recommendation of dishes by Evan) really flavourful. The restaurant is fun and the staff first class. We enjoyed it so much we are booking to go back!

I went with my husband and daughter to Mahon. I am a pescatarian as well as a picky eater but the menu was accommodating to our tastes. We had a lava cake, morning glory and many other delicious meals. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us our food promptly. The menu is created by a wide range of traditional Khmer cuisine with a modern twist that suits numerous tastes. If you visit Siem Reap, Mahob must be on your itinerary.

It is a Khmer cuisine restaurant.
We were lucky to be able to try it. We arrived very late at the hotel and after checking in, they recommended that restaurant, which apparently was one of the few open at that time in the area and about to close.
It is organized like a garden, with a covered part and an open part.
