Super cool cocktail bar! Loved the atmosphere and the insects tapas. They also do different kinds of tapas and it was surprisingly good! We are abit adventurous so if it wasn’t for trying insects cuisine, we would have never tried the rest of the dishes...:)More

Tried the sample platter which included spiders, waterbugs, scorpions, crickets,... Service was friendly and explained the options well. The food looked inviting, aside from the fact that it was insects of course. The taste itself was remarkably good as well, well prepared and seasoned. Wasn't...a big fan of the scorpion since it was quite chewy but some other things, such as the tarantula were very nice. While the idea of eating here is somewhat scary and the prices are quite high for Siem Reap, it's definitely worth a visit. Next time in Siem Reap, I'll probably visit again.More

The concept of Bugs Cafe is interesting. The chef did a great job in explaining the concept, and suggesting choices. I did not order from the insect menu, but my husband ordered the sampler platter. He was disappointed that it was mating season for the...scorpions so he was not able to sample the scorpion donut (had the samosas instead) the food was well presented, but I am not sure we would go again. We are still too “western” to make this eco-friendly dietary change! But it was so worth it to step out of our comfort zone.More

Awesome place to try some bugs, especially with such helpful and friendly staff, as well as delicious food presentation. Definitely keep an open mind when you see the food and you'll have a great time; they also offer the menu without the bugs for those...who aren't feeling too adventurous. There's happy hour on Fridays from 1730-1830 (if I'm recalling correctly) where they offer a free glass of beer. Great cafe to expand your culinary horizons!More

I came here for the experience and not because I like to eat insects. We ordered the small platter to try a little bit of everything. I ate the Tarantula, scorpion, cricket, beetle, and ants. It really wasn’t bad! The waiter was so helpful with...explaining how we eat everything and what sauce to use. Note- we did NOT get sick- as I get that question a lot. We only paid $15 for the small platter but the experience and photos were all worth it. This is only a snack so I would still plan to eat dinner. Try it! Don't be scared lol! 🕷🦂🐛🐜More

we tried the discovery small platter with bug Spring Rolls, Insect Skewer, silkworm & taro croquettes, Feta and Tarantula Samosa and a Crickets and Silkworms Wok. Taste is awesome, the environment is super friendly, and prices are very reasonable, considering that insects have to be...collected from the wild, and it's not an easy task!More

This is a great place to try, as it is so unique and the cuisine is actually of very high quality. The waiter explains every item on your plate and which sauces go best with which bug, and the flavors in the dishes are actually...very tasty. I would definitely recommend.More

Never..the kitchen is very clean. It may depend if a person has allergies but not sure if it would be similar to seafood allergies. An excellent place to try insects if not sure about eating them off the street. Try free... More

We didn't book a table, and there were quite a few free ones. I can't remember though what weekday it was.
