..(Unsurprising if you read the previous reviews I guess) A couple have bought the place and are opening their own training concept restaurant called cabama/cabana/can't remember, which is exciting.

This place deserves more patrons. We stayed close to this eatery and after reading the comments here we gave it a try. They make a really nice mango smoothie. Food was very nice and cheaper than what you see in the city. The setting is somewhat fancy, but it feels very sad when it is so empty. Somehow it appears... More

This place is a real gem - just a shortish walk from the main drag in central Siem Reap. Its special because its a haven from the frenetic hustle of down town. Had enough being asked where you'd like to be taxied every 57 seconds - then escape to Brown Rice. Its definitely worth the effort - chill out and... More

Nice and clean restaurant with on the floor sitting area. They did not have most drinks from the menu (gin&tonic etc.). The waiter was really sweet but had not received any training as a bartender so did not have a clue how to make rum and coke. Still the food was good, not mind blowing, but still good.

Just had a lovely meal at Brown Rice. We read some great reviews but almost didn't go in because there was nobody inside. We decided to give it a shot and were very glad we did. Food was amazing and very reasonably priced. We had 3 courses and a beer for $7.25 each. Service was efficient and friendly. This is... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at Brown Rice- the delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff. This is a wonderful restaurant and I high recommend that you stop by while you're in SIEM REAP!

I had the chance to dine at Brown Rice a couple weeks ago and had a wonderful dinner. As soon as I stepped through the door, I was blown away with its classy decor and cozy atmosphere. Even better, my curry and the obligatory brown rice were cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the owners are involved with... More

Description
A beautiful warm restaurant which is Khmer-owned and managed. As well as being a restaurant, there are also monthly events held. This is the perfect place for students to relax, expatriates to hang out, and tourists to relax after a day at the temples.
