New Leaf is a social enterprise restaurant, donating 30% of its profits to good causes and sharing 20% of profit with our (all Khmer) staff. Since 2013 we have donated over US $50,000 to support education projects in Cambodia. We strive to provide "a taste of Cambodia," focusing on sourcing local ingredients, where possible. Our menu comprises Cambodian specialties (amok, lok lak), together with Western dishes served with a twist of local flavours.

First, one thing we loved about this restaurant is the fact that it donates 30% of its profits to local charities and 20% is split among the team there. What a great concept. Beyond that, the service was great. We were warmly welcomed, seated in...More

There are some lovely simple touches in this ethically sustainable eatery; home made drinks, delicious food, good choices and decent staff. Few frills but that is its style. We were met by welcome drink and chilled damp flannel. This place is comfortable and easy on...More

Food nice enough. Service lacking. The restaurant serves reasonable enough food, at prices that are high for local standards. Portion size is good, and freshness of the food is clearly there. Lacking in deep flavor, and in general, a little flat for my liking Having...More

Lovely Asian and western fusion meals, with nice presentation and interesting options. You pay more for it. Medium portions. Lovely service and nice/artistic decor. Socially conscious venue. Good vegetarian options.

I have frequented New Leaf many times and I admire its commitment to sustainability, its friendly staff and management, and healthy/filling good. They support fantastic organizations through their sales while also hosting fantastic events in Siem Reap. Recently, I attended a music night there where...More

Slightly off the beaten path of pub street, close enough but far enough away that you aren't disturbed by other tourists drinking too many 50c beers! Another social enterprise worth supporting whilst visiting siem reap. Small but quality menu offering a selection of local, fusion...More

Away from the chaos of Pub St but still close enough. Great food, the smoked chicken cashew stir fry is the best I have had. Big portions and friendly staff. 2nd visit.

After initial concerns to find a meal that suit a western palate in Cambodia, we were blessed to fall upon this place (via a recommendation on one of the many travel blogs we looked at before coming to Cambodia). Although it wasn’t very busy when...More

Hi. Sorry am slow to respond. We donate the younger children's books in English to local charities. If you need for a local charity or educational project then we'd be happy to consider a donation of books. Thanks
