This restaurant is run as a training organisation for young Cambodians. It was clean bright and cheerful. The service was excellent as was the traditional Cambodian food. It was wonderful to enjoy such a good meal whilst helping some youngsters. Very much to be recommended.

This restuarant serves superb local dishes at a good price. They will send a tuk tuk to pick you up at your hotel as it is not easy to find. The restaurant provides training and language opportunities for kids from very poor backgrounds and supports the local free school and clinic. Foreign visitors should support this worthy cause but you... More

We took 24 people to the resturant to support the innitiative of helping Cambodian people learn new skills. It was a wonderful evening and we really enjoyed the food, even ate crickets! The host gave us a really informative talk about the restaurant and training facility. Well worth the visit and the food was really good.

Went with Gadventures tour. Such a great place with onsite school and medical services for children. Great idea to help children get into the tourism industry jobs. Food was 5 dishes all served at once. Different Khmer cuisine but no choice of menu as it was set. The nibbles were crisps and crickets which were interesting. Service was great and... More

New Hope Cambodia is a grass roots, rapidly growing Non-Government Organisation (NGO) run by a dedicated individual, a local Khmer called Sot Suo (Kemsour). The focus of New Hope is 'free education for all' as the founders recognise the vital role education plays in helping break the cycle of poverty. The school provides English, maths, computer technology and sewing lessons, free, to over 750 children and adults from Mondul 3, Siem Reap...one of the poorest slum areas in Cambodia. New Hope's clinic also treats up to one hundred residents each day for burns, wounds, salmonella poisoning, infections and illnesses such as malnutrition, HIV, hepatitis, typhoid, tuberculosis and dengue fever and, as part of their focus, New Hope also operates a traditional Khmer Training Restaurant under the expert guidance of ex-Foreign Correspondents’ Club Head Chef, Srey Mom.
