Food was excellent. The establishment was clean and well lit. The staff was polite and helpful, ready to fulfill your needs with a smile Obedience of a sushi restaurant in any town in Japan. Rany was our waitress and did a great job always with...a smile. As this is a dinner to celebrate the life of our friend it is important to have a waitress with good cheer and a smile. A few years back we started to have our sake toast ro are friend here. It was such a good experience we have returned every year since. Brian Gallaway was a selfless person alway willing to help. We came to Southeast Asia to help start a Molecular Biology lab in Kathmandu. It was the first in Nepal’s history. Unfortunately he had a motorcycle accident that took his life much to early. We would have lunch in Boston and drink saki a few times a week. Now I come to The Hashi to celebrate his life and accomplishments, which were many. The staff is always kind enough to photo or video the toast to Brian. I want to than the staff for help make each year a true celebration. I have attached this years photo to the review.More

We had the $75 for 2 Teppanyaki set incl. Sashimi, Sushi, Miso soup, prawn, US tenderloin among other delicious food items. I have to say this was one of the best Teppanyaki place I've been to, incl. US and JP. Generous portions served with a...smile, steak cooked medium rate to perfection and the sushi was fresh. Great place and if you're into Japanese food like we are, the place to go in Siem Reap.More
