If you're a fan of Italian food, especially pizza, you need to go here. It's a bit tricky to find at first, but worth every effort to seek it out. I've had their Margarita pizza twice and both times I was floored by the quality and authenticity they produce. Margarita is my favourite pizza and I make it a point... More

This place was great. We went there upon recommendation from a friend living in SR. I'm going for a big statement here and say that this is probably the second place outside of Italy that I have had great pizza. The base was lovely and thin. Great tomato sauce and cheese ratio. Staff were lovely and efficient.

Charming little restaurant with lovely food located in a quaint alley in siem reap. AND THATS WHERE IT ENDS. I loved the food here and we just wanted a nice quiet dinner. After we sat down and ordered, there was a street seller/begger who pulled up a chair and sat about 6 feet away from us. Constantly shining his torch... More

As an European travelling around Asia I was craving some Italian food but did not have high hopes. We found this place via TripAdvisor and I am happy we did – not only did we get real Italian food (I swear I have had worse Italian food in Italy itself) but also a little piece of Italian atmosphere in one... so very disappointing, i was told this was one of the best italians in town so i wanted to give it a try. ordered a pizza and two paninis. the pizza toppings were not even properly distributed which resulted in having one side covered with olives, one side with artichoke and one side with mushrooms. speaking of which, the mushrooms... We heard of this place in an alley off Pub Street. Great little spot and an amazingly friendly and helpful staff. We ordered two small pizzas which were actually quite large and a caprese starter. Very, very good and extremely great value. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting the area to get out of the crowd. Perfect for us... More

Best Pizza and pasta we have had anywhere for a while. Wood fired pizzas are the real deal and the home made pasta is to die for. We had the mantis shrimp pasta and the Rico pizza. Flavour was amazing.

We discovered this gem while we were wandering in the market. The cuisine in Southeast Asia was divine, but eventually, we needed some Italian food. Il Forno's pizza and cold beer hit the spot. We loved our waiter Rany. He speaks English well and provided excellent service. It was so good that we returned for dinner. It speaks volumes when... More

Description
We created Il Forno in 2011 after many years dreaming of opening a traditional Italian Restaurant outside Italy where we would serve authentic Italian food like our grandmothers used to cook. The only addition to our grandmother's kitchen was the building of an original stone brick fire wood oven from where to make pizzas according to the southern italian tradition. We pride to import every single ingredient ( veggie & fruits aside)on our menu directly from Italy and to make all our food home made and fresh daily. Our fantastic team of chefs/cooks start their day very early to prepare our pizza dough that need 10/12 hours before its naturally risen and to prepare home made tagliatelle, tortellini , gnocchi and so on , exactly like we used to in Italy half a century ago.
