We found Green Star on TripAdvisor tonight and walked down there from our hotel. Excellent food and prices as well as meeting Avee and Doug and all their staff... Thanks for a delightful evening. Go there anytime that you are in Siem Reap...

Lovely to visit Green Star, run by the wonderful Doug and Avee. Food was a culinary adventure - eel stew and fried frog (sorry Doug - sure that's not their proper name!) and many other interesting dishes. My personal favourite was popped corn! It's a...More

Khmer Hot Pot with Eel is the name you are looking for but hey, what's in a name ....... as long as it tastes good. Thanks for taking time to share your experience with others & thanks for your support of the 'Gecko Gang'. Doug...More

You just can't beat the value here. We ordered half the menu and wished we could have gone on. I'd say it's the best place to go for a sampling of Cambodian cuisine. The corn was definitely a hit, and the eel soup was morish,...More

Whilst our menu is not exhaustive, we do our best to ensure an opportunity to try a few tastes that are a little different from Pub Street. It's so pleasing to know you enloyed your choices. I think perhaps the freshness of our dishes is...More

I can not rave enough about this place. The food was to die for and at such cheap prices I would have gone back every single night if I didn't discover it on my last night in Siem Reap! I had the pepper beef and...More

Thanks for your comments. I guess Green Star is passionate about green Gecko project, & that's why Avee & I started the restaurant - to help the work it does. It is, we hope a win/win for everyone - your patronage helps the Gecko Kids...More

Hi, we are happy you enjoyed your meal & thank you for the personal comment. You're right, a number of Tuk Tuk drivers do seem to have difficulty in finding green Star despite our proximity to Wat Damnak which is a prominent landmark & so...More
