The 3 other Japanese restaurants I tried i Siem reap doesn't taste japan, but more like a fast food. Even they have a good note n this website. There is a lot of Japanese restaurants where I'm all the time desapointed. The maki or all...the time better when I make it myself. This time they where good, the simple one, just with salmon or thuna, is awsome, Because, they make it when your order, is fresh, and handmade. Not like in many sushi restaurants wich or more fqctories. And I'm really shocked when i see a crabstick in a maki (is the mix between the elegance of japanese food and the junkfood). And some restaurants put many vegetables and a few fish. So the maki we tried in SaiKou restaurants where perfect, the teriyaki beef whas also great. They also have Tataki beef! And you should try Osaka sushi, I never saw that before, is excelelent and amazing to see it making! I need to find this woodenbox, to make it myself in my house.More

This is located opposite Lucky Mall where we went for some shopping. Slightly away from the main centre of action but quiet as a result. There is a polite welcome and a very comprehensive Japanese menu. My favourite is Chicken Katsu Curry and they make...a really good one with all the trimmings, miso soup etc. Everything is fresh and tasty. As good as any Japanese restaurant. The chef even politely explained how various dishes were prepared. Definitely worth a visit. Recommended.More

Founded this really just behind of the Hotel which we stayed in Siem Reap. Delicious maki rolls and quite good selection for sake. We ordered salmon sashimi but it doesn’t taste fresh. Dessert selection needs to give more options since they offered really common dessert...which not really related to Japanese cuisine.More
