Spent my first vacation in NJ and had breakfast daily at the Sunryser. Staff was friendly and attentive with a relaxed, comfortable, no frills environment. Good coffee which is essential to a good breakfast, daily special omelette a must try. Accommodating to my egg white request and the fruit cup was totally FRESH fruit. Grits must have been good since... More

Service and food was great. Tasted like home cooking. And the price was economical. Will definitely visit again

The food and service here was outstanding. Cute little cafe with home cooking. Quite a find on out long drive home. Ice cream too!

This was the second time my husband and I visited Sunryser Country Store & Deli for breakfast. Even though we could have eaten at the Borgata Hotel and Casino with our comps we remembered how good our breakfast was the first time and made sure to enjoy a delicious meal to start our day for the long ride home. When... More

My Husband stopped in for take out breakfasts (2). He asked if he could have 2 creamed chipped beefs on wheat toast, instead of white and cheddar cheese on one order of the fried potatoes, the girl taking the order, said sure. He observed the owner/cook using white bread, so he said something. He stated at least make one order... More

An old time charm is what you feel when you walk into this Breakfast/Lunch place. It's an real old time country store converted to a restaurant. Good value, food is very good, atmosphere makes you feel like your back in your grandmother's kitchen from 1965. Wooden slat floor, metal tables, signs and chachka from that era.

This is a great place for breakfast. The food is great (homemade and fresh). The ambience is just like an old general store that one would have seen in the 1920's and 1930's. I believe it actually was a general store at one time.

The search is over for my breakfast stop. Had a very reasonably priced omelet at this cute little venue. Probably seats no more than 30 people, so you're not lost in a crowd. Pancakes were yummy and coffee was good and graciously renewed. Accommodating service. The muffins that were bursting with blueberries just came out of the oven as we... More
