Great subs....

While staying in the the area, we had Vic's deliver some subs to our resort villa; they were great. We had the special (extra meat & cheese), and the super mushroom cheesesteak; both were tasty and amply portioned. We also had their fries, which were quite good. The only drawback was the person taking the order, put down the wrong location; so the order took longer to arrive than stated. Beyond that, the food was good and the prices reasonable; making this a strong option for future orders.

We order for fund raisers and the hoagies were so good. Fresh bread rolls and tasty meats. all the orders have been delivered on time, very friendly staff. We are glad we found this great place. Amazing food, great price and service.

Excellent. Italian sub was excellent. Stop by chance as I was avoiding traffic on the main highway. Really easy to get to. People there were great. Staff knew all the local diners. The local sang its praises- for good reason.

2023...They went down QUICK!

We're/I'm done with Vic's. My wanted a sub when she got back in from her trip to our son & grandkids down South. I drove down (about 40 miles) early Sunday to pick up 3-halfs ...turkey w/prov cheese, a ham & cheese and a tuna. To our surprise, all three were very short on fillings (except for cheese) and the bread was day-old. We were shocked, but for $28 I'll have to find another favorite sub shop and probably closer to where we live. Obviously we WERE in love with the place a long time, especially since it was so far away. Not a good choice for us anymore. I guess that's how they're rolling in the new year.

Haven't been here since we were kds. Meatball subs not in hollowed out roll anymore. Sauce a bit spicy. Ordered my son a super cheesesteak as he is used to packed subs. This was not packed and he asked three times if I ordered without cheese as there was only a little amount on it. I got a regular cheesesteak. Rolls were nice and fresh but the subs were ok. Nothing to brag about. My husband did like the way the shop is set up for pick up during this Covid time. Well thought out.

I’ve gone to Vic’s since the 1970’s. I was back in the area this weekend. I ordered a cheese steak with fried onions, lettuce And tomato. It was disappointing. Plenty to eat but no flavor to it. It was also so wet the bread fell apart.

Whenever I have to travel to NJ ,for work or to visit friends I have to stop here for a sandwich,prices is under $10 and up quite reasonable , friendly staff ,clean, mask wearing required.

Great Hoagies

I havent been in Vic's in awhile. Stopped in for a hoagie, so glad I did. Their hoagies are still amazing! If your from out of town you have to stop in for a hoagie, you wont be dissapointed.

Christmas Eve Party Tray A+++

Thank you Vic’s Subs for an amazing tasting party tray for our family Christmas Eve feast. As busy as your place was, your staff was fantastic and the quality was great. The tray of Italian Subs was perfect and my only complaint was that there wasn’t any leftovers! Great Job! See you in the New Year!

The best Subs ever in Absecon New Jersey

Well I have been visiting this place since the 70s before Mike had this place they took over and they did a wonderful job serving the community I highly recommend stopping in and checking out their menu as I have been getting subs shipped out of state for many years the Florida California different states and they still taste wonderful because he gets in their next day give this place a try I do believe you will love the food and the prices and the atmosphere and the owner is such a great person he’s done a wonderful business in the last 25 years I was there when they took over new ownership when they first bought the place and they had done a wonderful job of keeping up the business ever since the 70s 😃

Lots of sandwiches

I went there with some co-workers and was told to order a half sandwich. So glad that I did. Had the pepper steak and a half sandwich was about 9-10" in length. The place was packed when I was there. Definitely a place that the locals like. A coworker got the meatball sandwich which had hudge homemade meatballs and they said it also was very tasty. Would go back there again.

Best Italian Subs and Cheesesteaks!

Vic’s is a local staple in Absecon, offering the best subs and sandwiches around South Jersey. They use nothing but the best Italian bread, delivered daily fresh from Atlantic City. Vic’s uses high quality meats for their subs. The food is always consistent and delicious. The place is primarily known for take out or delivery. There is a small dining area if you would like to eat in the store, however you will have people standing besides you waiting to pick up their food. Vic’s makes very nice sub trays for parties. I suggest calling ahead to place your order for pick up. They are always busy!
