I have no idea what anything Kiwi, the fruit, the people or the bird, have to do with Bolivia but what the hay might as well try the restaurant. It is located a bit off the main square so the prices are not inflated. We noted the place when we walked by in the afternoon and returned for dinner that... More

We went to Santa Cruz only for two days and was keen to find a nice place to have our final dinner in South America. Kiwis Cafe didn't let us down. Aaron (the New Zealander) has now sold it to two sisters who were very helpful with the menu and wine selections. We both had trout and it was amazing.... More

We stayed here as well as they have an Airbnb room upstairs. But it was the cafe that really charmed us along with owner Lucia. The set lunch became our staple during our three days here and in the evening the a la carte options did not disappoint either. Staff always friendly and helpful, good music, good atmosphere and good... More

I was looking for a place near Plaza Principal for lunch. Only a few blocks walk and right where navigation said it was. They had a lunch special for 12 bolivianos advertised. It had a traditional large lunch format. A salad bar that you could help yourself too, although I stay away from fresh veggies my first days in another... More

After been on the road for a long time, it was so nice to find this lovely restaurant unexpectedly. We were a group of 3 and we were all more than satisfied with our meal. I am a vegetarian and it was so nice to get such a lovely meal as I've struggled a lot in South America. Would highly... More

I knew you were new to Bolivia's way of living. So, I wanted to show off a little bit our wonderful fresh fruits we are so lucky to have. Pineapple is one them among others. Thank you so much for such nice comment about our food and service. Believe me, we try our best to make our customers happy so... More

The place seems to be owned by 2 sisters! They are both very nice and have very good English. The food was very good. When we ate there was a tango lesson at the middle of the place which was nice to watch. I think that there are also?tambo shows at the evenings.

We went there in the early afternoon and at that time they do not have the tango (that is only at nights). We were there with the family and the food was really tasty. The owner received us and was really friendly. The day we were there, they had some trouble with the cook arriving late so the food took... More
