What a feeling ! Thousands of miles away you find, in a beautiful little house with a Mediterranean courtyard , german food, better than Germans back home could make it! We had "Zwiebelschnitzel" and we have been fully satisfied ! Thanks, Axel, you are. A perfect ambassador of Germany. And, at the same time: for Bolivia! Just ask: Germany in... More

The food was good but the prices are too much over the top. The owner seems to have forgotten he is in Bolivia.. and having prices as high as in Europe.. Service average. Place with decoration that need to be refreshed. Good to go for lunch tough, prices are more correct, but you won't deserved plates from the menu.

La Casona was recommended to us by our hotel. Although we were the only guests, we liked the place and the menu and were ready to order for dinner. However after we saw that they put regular tapwater in our pineapple juice, we got worried about safety because travellers are adviced not to drink tap water in Bolivia. Although they... More

This is such a lovely place. From outside it looks in inconspicuous but inside it's great. The menu offers mostly traditional food or mostly food from the German south. We ordered schnitzel with potato salad or "Röstkartoffeln". Both was delicious, tasted like German food. The service was fast and friendly , but maybe it's based on the fact that we... More

I had the bratwurst and it was perfectly cooked and came with a side of sauerkraut and potato salad. I really like eating here when I visit Santa Cruz. The atmosphere is great. They have this really nice patio with tables and also tables inside.
