If you're looking for a traditional Bolivia meal in a reliable, formal setting, this is a good bet. It's on the pricier side by Bolivia standards (meals are around 60 bolivianos), but portions are big and tasty. The menu is meat-filled, with everything from steak to kidneys, and my brother raved the great way his lomo was seasoned and cooked.... More

If you are looking for a traditional dish, you should visit this restaurant. I must say this is not the only option on the avenue this restaurant is located. You can find other options but most locals will always recommend to at least try out a dish there. I am sure you will not get disappointed. I would recommend to... More

I visited Tunari looking for an authentic Bolivian dining experience. I had heard that this was the oldest restaurant in Cochabamba and had read a good review in Lonely Planet. Boy was I disappointed. I sat on the front patio which may have been nice in a bygone era but even on a gorgeous day was noisy and smelly from... More

We could appreciate the good foor at this place. They serve different typical local dishes, although at one visit (later on the evening) only a (very) limited part of the menu was available. They play rather loud music inside (better outside), and the place gets filled with local people.

Disappointed, service horrible. W sat with menus and as boyfriend was still looking at the menu, I asked for the wifi password but waiter wouldn't give me until we had ordered something!!! Prices are EXPENSIVE for area and what you get! Go to paprika or estancia for same price for much much better quality, amount and presentation. All the restaurants... More

Tunari is located in Prado ave. Not a fancy place but really crowded and the location is ideal for spending time with friends in the afternoon while drinking some beers and having a really nice food. Was amazing the amount of food on each dish (two orders were enough for four hungry people), taste was also nice. Not all the... More

This review is for the Churrasqueria Tunari Boulevar, located in Cochabamba's Recoleta district. Not sure if the owners are the same as the Tunari restaurant on the city's Prado/Ballivian, but the names appear identical. We had gone to the excellent La Estancia restaurant on Sunday afternoon but there was a long line of people waiting for tables. We then went... More

Once you get up there almost 2000 ft above sea, you will see the majestuosity of Cochabamba Valley , take your camera and if you go in winter time you may find snow.
