Good food, great wine, nice décor, luxurious. Aims for a great service you can tell; for me though having the waiters standing not a few steps back from our table bothered me a bit, for its lack of privacy. Felt a bit scrutinized. Other than that, keep going back anyway. Love the restaurant, the lounge

Me , my family and my friends went to le Prive for New year's eve. The place was fully booked and we had to reserve a month in advance to find a table! Champagne was served in the lounge on the first floor and a photographer was there to take pictures ( which we could take home at the end... More

The place is nice and the staff very welcoming. The food is a little expensive but of good taste. Give it a try.

The food was so good that we had dinner there twice out of the five nights that we were in Cotonou! The steaks are amazing - soft and juicy. The bread rolls they serve are hot and fresh. We were a party of 8 and everyone was happy with their meals. Good value for money food. The venue is near... More

We have been there only once but will go back when again in Cotonou. The restaurant serves mostly French cuisine and some dishes of international cuisine. The fish is superb and they also have very good pasta and risotto. The deserts and ice cream are the best you can find in town. Their wine choice is pretty vast and good.

I went to le prive with my friends . We ordered "entrée" and "plats" and it was the best food I've ever tasted. Plus the service is excellent !! They knew what we needed without even asking. Moreover the lounge has a great variety of cocktails ans beers . The prices are correct compared to the service and the quality... More

A lounge and restaurant, with an upmarket feel. Thre food is good, but a litlle uninspired: missing a "je ne sais quoi". The service was efficient, and attentive, however the place was very quiet. Overall a good experience. Please note as an upmarket place prices are on the upside.

This is probably foodwise one of cotonou's better restaurants, but this was overshadowed, when i Was there by a terribly slow service. This was the more astonishing, because the 8 of us were rather lonely in the restaurant. Again the food was really good. I was invited, so no idea about the price/quality ratio but must be rather expensive.

Had one dinner here, but it was slightly over the top. Service is good and so is the food. It might be one of the best places to have an upclass dinner. Interesting, those Beninese businessmen around a bottle of cheap Red Label...
