A stop for bathroom and refreshments on my and my boyfriend's way to Death Valley. I appreciated the theme at the place and all those alien themed souvenirs that you can buy. If you are into this, you will totally be in your zone! There is a small restaurant at the place where you can grab frozen yogurt or something bigger to eat and eat it at the place or take if away with you.

Just up the road from our stay at the Longstreet Casino and RV Park, this was a quirky stop we couldn’t pass. I mean, when you see a place that looks like the aliens may have overtaken, you gotta check it out, right? Grabbed a few photos with the alien cutouts in front of the store. Inside, you’ll find a selection of mini market type snacks and drinks. But also, several alien figures which make for fun photos. And there is quite a bit of alien centric merchandise including shirts, socks, hats, magnets and assorted souvenirs. You can even buy alien head shaped bottles of tequila. All in all, a fun stop if you like quirky roadside stops.

Located over an hour north of Las Vegas on Highway 95 at Armagossa. Alien themed everything inside and out. Convenience and souvenirs. Gas station and small diner. Plenty of parking spaces available.

This was our first stop out of Las Vegas as we started driving to Reno. We used the clean restrooms, took plenty of fun photos, and bought snacks and souvenirs you won't easily find elsewhere. On our return trip we stopped here to have dinner. Excellent chicken salad sandwich on Texas toast!

Terrible service by self righteous owner. Wouldn’t let a mom buy an alien shaped bottle of alcohol because her college kids were with her while she was picking it out, and they were talking about how cool it looked. Evidently the scenario is on camera. Owner asked for the whole family’s IDs even though the mom (over 21) was paying, and refused to sell it because the kids were not 21 yet. The place makes their own laws evidently. Hella rude. Would not recommend.

Average gas station selling overpriced crap. Better prices online. The word tacky springs to mind. If you want your picture taken next to a model alien this is this place for you.

Alas, there was nothing but an overpriced souvenir shop. One might think that there might be some relics, photographs and the like. Nope...a place to buy overpriced junk BUT...it is a stop for a bottle of water or soft drinks in the middle of nowhere. I didn't try the restaurant. There is a brothel next door if that's your thing!

This is the type of roadside stop that makes long drives across this beautiful country delightful. I love the sheer amount of alien shwag. The alien fortune teller is hilarious. Not to mention the alien brothel next door. There’s a ton of snacks so you will find what you’re looking for. And a huge thanks to the two cashiers who were so kind—despite having to deal with the public in a pandemic. A woman came in without a mask and started yelling at them when they asked her kindly to wear a mask. I’m so grateful to these cashiers for enforcing the law of the moment, and just trying to keep themselves and the rest of the customers safe. I hate that they have to deal with such abuse. Anyways, the place is awesome and you should stop in.

My friend and I were driving back from Death Valley on the way to Las Vegas and pulled over when we saw this place on the left just after Beatty. We didn't know it existed beforehand, so had no expectations. Anybody who likes alien kitsch will love this place! We were on a schedule, so couldn't spend as much time as we'd have liked, but we had a blast looking at all the stuff. Socks, mugs, T-shirts, plushies, posters, magnets - you name it! The staff was perfectly cordial. Prices were reasonable, considering. Stop in, even for a few minutes!

A place to avoid, I was refused access since I had no bras under my tank top, but still was fully dressed. The women working there were very rude telling me that since I didn't have a bra, they considered my tank top to be a bra and therefore I was undressed and needed to cover up. It's time to evolve and stop oppressing women for their breasts in 2022. Still wondering why they were so obsessed with my breast in the first place when they were fully covered, and if they also ask men to put bras on theirs…

Travelling the back roads of Nevada from Reno to Vegas, we were checking off many official and unofficial roadside America attractions, so we had to stop at the Area 51 Alien Travel Center. We gassed up and visited the store. There are many fun photo ops both inside and outside the store. The store leans into its Area 51 identify with a wide variety of souvenirs available in the store. There is also a diner/cafe in the center. The center has clean restrooms. Right next door to the center is the Alien Cathouse Brothel. The billboards in the area are worth a few pictures as well. It was a fun stop to break up the long trip. The center is right next to another Roadside America attractions -- the world's largest firecracker.

I really wanted to drive in between the mountains of Nevada, since it was a new landscape that I had never driven before, and the Alien Center is smack dab in the middle of nowhere in Nevada--which makes for a great travel stop. They have a gas station, picnic area set up, huge billboard with alien heads on it to make its mark in the arid desert area of Amargosa Valley. It's huge inside, has everything that you can imagine a side-of-the-road alien attraction should have, complete with frozen yogurt available at the Area 51 diner located inside towards the back of the establishment. Lots of souvenirs inside: magnets, keychains, stickers, t-shirts, hats, etc. There are cool displays to take pictures with outside and inside. The quality of the t-shirts is very good & they're comfortable to wear too, they have a variety of sizes from children's to plus size for both men & women. They also have an aisle of alcohol and have cool alien-head vodka shots available to purchase up by the counter.

Tourist traps have to attract in order to trap, and even though the exterior is tacky, and everything in the interior is overly priced - well above Las Vegas prices for T-shirts - it was hard not to turn into the driveway and take a look. Of course, one has a hard time resisting posing the whole family, or oneself, into one of the cut-out alien display boards standing against the exterior wall (and there is no cost to do that). Once inside, it is equally hard not to appreciate all the imagination and marketing skills that were required to assemble in one place every type of alien paraphernalia - I may have missed the Alien jerky, but I would not have been surprised to see that. We did not eat at the cafe, and it might have been interesting to see whether the alien theme had been continued there. In any case, for the alien-lover in your family, there are ample ways to spend your non-alien dollars. Had the prices been, perhaps, 30% less, I might have purchased a couple of souvenir alien-themed items, but not at those prices. Still, do not miss it, particularly if you are travelling past the (real) Area 51 on route 95, where there is definitely not a single tourist trap/novelty store.
