This bar and restaurant near Georgetown Lake has a friendly small town feel with hearty pub fare. I ordered the Philly Steak sandwich sandwich. It was delicious with sweet potato fries.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover the Brown Derby has been remodeled, is clean, and is looking great. Lunch was delicious. Service was great. The menu has a decent variety of options available and I had a yummy good chicken quesadilla. I hear tell they have started to serve prime rib for dinner.
Outstanding prime rib. Ate supper there and had great prime rib. Also ate lunch there and had fish and chips. Fish and chips were so so. Three pieces of heavily breaded fish. Decent flavor. Good service. Very friendly waitress. Bar is attached with cacino if you like one armed bandits.
Went with another couple on a Sunday early evening and found this restaurant interesting. This is not a restaurant where you will be greeted with a - hi I'm Amber and I'll be your server tonight- this is where Misty will greet you-seat you and serve you if your lucky enough. Nice selection of beers local and otherwise great homemade... More
The restaurant is next to Gerogetown Lake approximately 20 miles from Anaconda. Have eaten there twice and the prime rib was awesome. Could have had 4 stars but the service is a little slow and similar to another review timing of apps, salads, and main dish were very close together.
The Brown Derby is a little 8 to 10 room motel that has a cafe and bar right beside it. The cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They serve awesome food and the drinks are pretty good also. I don't know what it is like in the summertime because we always go there in the winter for ice... More
The fried pickles were great. Otherwise it was very disappointing. The appetizers, salad, and entrees all arrived together. My friend's salad had a long hair in it and my burger was just nasty; the meat tasted like it was freezer burned or old. It was inedible. Too bad because the restaurant is really convenient to the lake and Discovery.
Visit several times a year because of living close by and just hope every time that things will be better... especially the service. This time, the special (a pasta shrimp dish) was excellent. The dinner salad, though not large, was cold and crisp; and our group was served in a timely manner. The plain brown table have new covers on... More
Food is average and depending if they have their operation in full swing, a customer can get a pretty tasty dish, an average plate of food or you may need to wait quite a while to get your food and even then, it is just so-so. Take your chances as it is in a pretty spot close to Georgetown Lake... More
Though the restaurant doesn't have much road-side appeal, the lunch we stopped for was QUITE good. We were lucky enough to be there for an afternoon lounge type of act. An elderly man superbly planning a guitar and his wife belting out the tunes. Who'd a thought you'd get live entertaining in the middle of the afternoon.
