A unique combination of buffet and table service. Food was very good with a wide variety. Neither of us felt like a buffet, but it sure looked good. We were disappointed in the Key lime cheesecake and Skillet cookie but the meals were delicious, price low for the quality and quantity. If you are into heavy beer, the oatmeal stout... More

We ate at this restaurant and we wish we had not - The buffet food was cold and it looked and tasted like it had sat out all day - The service was terrible and the server was rude - Please do not make our mistake and eat at this restraint - We do not recommend it

For a "truck stop" diner this is a hidden gem in Albert Lea, the service was good, and the food was great. They offer a buffet and menu service. Breakfast served all day! Along with a bar if that fits your fancy. Everything we ate in our group was well received the chicken was tasty, the steak was good and... More

On the road for awhile and hungry? This restaurant is the perfect place. The country fried steak and country fried chicken are delightful and well prepared. The staff is good even at night.

Staying in Albert Lea Minnesota for twelve days prior to going to Forest City Iowa for the Winnebago's GNR. Had dinner here last night. Lots of carbs on the buffet. Food was plentiful and good tasting. Very large venue with gifts, souvineers, take out foods and auto parts. Since located off of I90 I reccomend.

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Buffalo, New York. We looked at the buffet line of food and decided to try it out. It was mostly good, except for the turkey; the turkey was dry. We saw that they are now roasting chicken, ribs and brisket. It looks like The Iron Skillet is upgrading to better... More

Impressive for a truck stop restaurant and buffet. Generally quality selection of entrees and man course meats on the buffet. Service has always been prompt and friendly. Buffet staff are usually on top of restocking and service at the buffet stations. I haven't been disappointed for the price.

This is a great looking building that was very clean! Love the buffets and staff. It is a one stop shop for traveling in that direction. Will stop of again.

Stopped for a quick Breakfast at 9 in the morning. Very few Customers with 2 Waitresses. Service was slow and many Tables were had empty Plates and Glasses from other Customers. Buffet looked bad. Food all over and dried looking so we ordered off menu. My Husband's Biscuit was ok, but Gravy like paste. The Cinnamon Roll was a large... More

The Pepper Pot Beef Soup was great, the salad bar was good and the entrees and sides were great American food - mashed potatoes, potatoes Au gratin, dressing, ham, chicken and more. For under $15 including a generous tip, I left stuffed.
