There is a style of pizza unique to Detroit that arguably has its roots at the Cloverleaf Bar in Eastpoint. Though there are excellent examples of this style alive and well in the metro area, Buddy's is the best hands down. This location not only offers this quintessential pie but many other offerings to please all palates.

Went to Buddy's with close friends from Waterford after a day of traveling and flying in from South Florida. Very friendly staff and the pizza was awesome. Sam was our waiter and he is outstanding.

The place is family oriented.... the staff is friendly... but the most important thing is: the pizza is amazing!!! The antipasto salad is awesome with the house dressing.. they also have great French fries... in other words you can't go wrong with this place...

Decor is fresh. Beer and pop are cold. Antipasto salad is a meal in itself! But what you came for is the pizza. Ahhh the pizza. Hasn't changed since it was introduced in Detroit back in the 50's I guess? And it shouldn't change. When you get something this right you don't mess with it! so after reading this post... More

My teenage son and I decided to try Buddy's based on positive reviews. We arrived before 6 pm on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. The waitress was friendly and helpful. We were hungry, and the food arrived quickly. The eight-piece pizza was enough to fill us up. If I had to do it over again I might have... More

It was a Friday eve and there was about a 30 min wait. The restaurAnt was busy but when we were seated and looked over... More

Excellent pizza and salads. Variety of Italian foods to try, not just pizza. If you have never tried pizza at Buddy's, you must try it. Its been in the Detroit area for a long time. Well worth a trip to this or another Buddy's Pizza

The pizza is amazing. Not kidding. I have the best thin crust pizza in the world in Rome and this pizza kind of made me wonder if I loved it more that pizza in Rome. Go to this place and try it. :) I am picky about cleanliness and this place got an A+. The pepper seed and grated parmesan... More

The best I've had in the Auburn Hills area(I'm not a local but I work in the area fairly regularly). Really good pizza. Definitely worth a try.

It was just the perfect casual dinner. Good local beer, a great square pizza and good staff. There are so many options with pizzas that you don´t know where to go. I went there twice on my lats trip and it was a great experience overall.
