When the Dome closed, Lelli's was left behind. It may be in an industrial wasteland, but the food is really good and the experience was super. I went there by myself, and they treated me as if I was with a party of 4. My server never treated me as if I was wasting her $, and I appreciate that.... More

Veal saltimbocca was a few pieces of veal with a mornay type sauce. No fresh sage or prosicutto. the 18.00 upgrade consisted of an antipasto platter with 5 small slices of salami and mortadella, a couple of olive, a few peppers and a little cheese. Minestrone had boxed mashed potatoe flakes mixed in and the lamb chops (60.00) were supposed... More

Now if you want to sit down and enjoy yourself in a nice setting.......here's the place. The food is to die for, kinda pricey but well worth it. Advice, download Groupon and you will get the deal of your life. If you're not hungry and don't want to take something home for the next day then don't go here. My... More

There are many classy restaurants in the metro Detroit area; however, most result in a bill north of $200. Lelli's cannot be credited with being inexpensive but is worth the price. I highly recommend the petit filet served in the multi-course style. It never disappoints!

The Fillet Mingon is still the best around. Have been going to Lelli's for many years, even when they were by the Old GM building in Detroit.

Lelli's was a great place for our business dinner. It felt like we stepped back in time 30 years to an old Italian dinner house in a good way. The menu has a little bit of everything from steak to pasta and some great Italian standbys like Parmesan and Piccata. Our waiter recommended the veal chop and it was the... More

My husband and I along with 2 other couples dined at Lelli's for a birthday celebration. We were extremely disappointed in the food and service as all of us had eaten at Lelli's in the past and found it to be among our favorite restaurants. Our Caesar salad was "drenched" in dressing that was too spicy, our soup was warm... More

First, the valet was very rude. He also rummaged through our things. Luckily nothing was in the car was of value. The food was bland at best. I've had better pasta at Olive Garden, and I don't even like Olive Garden that much. I expect that when you pay so much you would have something that was a little decent.... More

Great old world tradition. Steaks are awesome, lobster the biggest I have seen. Shrimp cocktail delicious. The minestrone soup is the best ever. Has a creamier base than any other minestrone I have ever had. Caesar Salad prepared table side is the best too One of the very few white tablecloth restaurants left, with jacketed waitstaff. The decor can show... More
